Wife goes off her Purple rocker

My wife and I went to the show, so we were looking forward to the DVD. She was not a Purple fan until she saw them live, but she came away very impressed.

Pre-ordered the DVD and it arrived when promised. We promptly put in in and turned up the surround sound. WOW! Terrific sound quality. My wife enjoys this so much she has watched it no less than 10 times the first few days. Her word for the music is "Fabulous." I enjoy it also, but she is hooked. She has played it for everyone who comes to the house and has made some new Purple fans in the process. Everyone who has seen it has said "Wow, they are really good!"

Having been at the show, we were disappointed at the bits that were cut out. Bits of Speed King, and the intro to Smoke. But all in all it is a great DVD and will provide many hours of enjoyment. This is a must for any Purple fan. The louder you play it, the more of a feeling you get of being there.

The interviews are very interesting. The backstage footage ends with quite a flashing surprise. [We dare not guess! Rasmus]

Keep on rocking guys. I hope we get to see them with Don Airey.
