I was so sad to hear the news about Tony.

My first memory of him was when he used to come around my house with Kim Gardiner (my Mum and Dad were friends) just as "Resurrection Shuffle" became a hit.

As a kid, I was so much in awe because here I was with "pop stars" in my living room as we watched them on Top Of The Pops.

I only managed to 'bump' into him a couple of times since, but we always had a laugh and shared a beer (or two). He was always good company to be with.

My condolences go out to his family and friends.

Thanks for the funny times we had, Tony, and when we meet "up there" ... it's your round!!!
