You keep on moving

When Deep Purple first sprang to life on a North Sea ferry in 1968, not even Nostradamus could have predicted that the band would be headlining a gala show in Moscow Kremlin 40 years later. Yet here we are — the band is still going strong , their collection of visas enough to make any stamp collector green with envy, and a musical repertoire still as relevant to the current reality of our world as Child In Time was to the Cold War raging when it was written.

2008 again sees the band trawling the world for venues and fans, eagerly awaiting with open ears and cameras. As always, send us your concert reviews and pictures so we can pass them on to all the other DP fans out there. This means that no matter how far away from you the band is playing, here on The Highway Star you can still experience a little of the excitement that is a Deep Purple concert.

And now, on with the show!
