Wonderful as always to hear Jon Lord. Surely there is more to this interview or do I have to subscribe. Sheeesh, I would not get out of there alive. A Metal den or abyss, I don’t know I will have to think carefully about that. Pretty rough looking crew in there , he he he. Cheers.
Jon would be 81 today – had The Powers allowed…. Was not to ever be BUT he was, is and WILL ALWAYS be my biggest inspiration.
A true Johann Sebastian Bach of our own lifetime. Not only via his keyboard skills and compositional talents but also as a genuine human being. True British gentleman – kind, polite and good natured. With beautiful spoken voice and lovely, infectious laughter. Those for whom the fate was kind enough and had the chance to meet him, even briefly – we know! Such a great man. Sorely missed, always dearly loved AND PLAYED every single day of life!
Great interview from one of the greatest musicians that ever lived on this earth
