Paice Ashton Wakeman
GasTank was a short lived in the early 80s show on British TV hosted by Rick Wakeman and Tony Ashton. Musicians were invited to be interviewed and jam with the house band. When Paicey got on the show, Resurrection Shuffle just had to be performed.
Many thanks to Rick Wakeman’s Youtube channel for the videos.
Brilliant Resurrection I couldn’t find but

June 20th, 2020 at 17:46I remember watching this program at the time. I’ve recently been watching them on youtube. So far I’ve watched the first six episodes, some good stuff in there.
June 21st, 2020 at 10:31AWESOME!! thanks Highway Star (Wakeman & Paicey) for finding interesting things without summer concerts and only snippets of new music..
June 21st, 2020 at 11:57The instrumental is some of Paice’s best drumming – so tight and progressive
June 22nd, 2020 at 17:23I remember that Ian appeared on 3 episodes. The one here mentioned and also backing Chris Farlowe on bongos. I never noticed his 3rd appearance even though I watched the whole series when it was originally aired. Really memorable was the Phil Lynott spot where John Sykes traded licks with Rick Wakeman during a wild solo.
