Glasgow ablaze
Last month California Breed were touring UK supporting Slash and Myles Kennedy. In Glasgow on December 4 Glenn Hughes and Andrew Watt joined the headliners on stage for a pretty blistering rendition of Burn:
Thanks to david williams for the video and to Tracy for bringing it to your attention.
I’m willing to give Glenn a bone here for once, because this is an undeniably awesome performance from him, one that I cannot strike a thing over. Screaming in Slash’s face, man alive the energy. But I have to see that all the time with him or it’s just like trying to appreciate Gillan screaming when he no longer can/desires to. It’s inconsistent that way with him but good is good. In-fact I can’t think of a better performance by him, seriously. It’s part lack of interest, but hey fans, show me something better than this, please. Where are all of you now? Cal Breed does nothing for me whatsoever, but this is vocals of his highest order.

This song is more than 40 years old and still rules!
…and Slash can play Blackmore…
Have a nice Day!
January 9th, 2015 at 09:36Another fine performance by Glenn Hughes. I have seen him in concert do Burn, Mistreated and several other Purple and BCC songs. Name any other person (who isn’t female), that at the age of 62 plus years can sing and hit the notes that Glenn Hughes can.
