Purple sneakers
English graphic artist Becky ‘Cozy’ Welton has produced a pair of very Purple sneakers for herself.
The sneakers are now on their way to New York for an audition for a Converse ad campaign. Yay!
Be sure to check out her other artwork, lots of it is Purple related, including the utterly hilarious Ritchie’s Quest comic strip.
Thanks to Andrey Gusenkov (deep-purple.ru) for the info.
Love Becky, uber talented woman. She sings too!

August 14th, 2014 at 20:25I f….n want them!!!
August 14th, 2014 at 20:36Aw, thanks for the share! My fiancé just let me know it was shared here. 🙂 I have a whole bunch of other arty stuff here on Facebook, quite a bit of Purple/Rainbow/Whitesnake etc lurking around on my page!:

Thanks for sharing my work and supporting my shoes’ audition, haha. 🙂 I don’t update my deviantART account any more though so I’ve linked my Facebook art page through my name if anyone wants to check out my stuff!
Glad to have an official and positive shout-out for Ritchie’s Quest too, it’s one of the silliest things I’ve drawn but it has a special place in my heart!
August 14th, 2014 at 20:43I really NEED those cons!x
August 14th, 2014 at 21:09where can I buy those chucks?
August 14th, 2014 at 21:18Way to go, Becky!
August 14th, 2014 at 21:20You can’t buy them in any shop as they were a vanity project for my feet, haha… However, I do bespoke Converse for people so get in contact if you’d like a pair – any design, any band(s). 🙂 Just not the exact same layout as mine as I’d selfishly like to keep those to myself, haha.
August 14th, 2014 at 21:39Excellent, nothing like goody two shoes eh? Well done, they look great! Cheers.
August 14th, 2014 at 22:09Becky:
too bad about deviant art — i find it a lot easier to navigate around.
August 14th, 2014 at 22:36Problem with deviantART is that it’s a great place to meet other artists… But not buyers! I have a wedding to save up for so it’s much easier selling portraits and shoes through a site nearly everyone uses.
August 14th, 2014 at 23:21Becky:
i see your point. but at least maintain some sort of “best of” portfolio there. it’s good to show to prospective customers in one place. as opposed to fb which has a stream on consciousness vibe to it.
August 14th, 2014 at 23:32to add to my point: i’d have never found ritchie comic on fb.
August 14th, 2014 at 23:34Can I get them ?
August 14th, 2014 at 23:34All of them are must haves.
August 15th, 2014 at 00:01BECKY, I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!! YOU ARE SO TALENTED AND I HOPE CONVERSE SEES THAT!! I WISH YOU MUCH SUCCESS
August 15th, 2014 at 00:42Omg so excited for you!!!
August 15th, 2014 at 00:43I never wear Convers but certainly would, if I could buy these in a store. Wow.
August 15th, 2014 at 07:54If the Sneakers available, I want to buy a pair of them. Great with the classical DP-logo.:-)
August 15th, 2014 at 10:20Topp motiv I love it…
August 15th, 2014 at 10:22I want a pair … NOW !!! 😉
August 15th, 2014 at 10:29Not really Nick, nobody has ever bought a single thing off me from deviantART, that’s why I set up a Facebook page in the first place all my sales have been through there. I arrange all my stuff in photo albums there rather than randomly and people have no trouble looking around, haha. The Ritchie’s Quest album is there!

I’m also in the middle of setting up an official website, just want to make it look all nice and spiffy before unveiling it. 🙂
August 15th, 2014 at 11:04Csak nem Deep Purple koncert volt az észteknél?
August 15th, 2014 at 13:23These are AMAZING!
August 16th, 2014 at 06:12I think Converse can seriously think to produce them. They are all 4 little masterpieces.
