It’s really long time after that scandal, they should pardon and invited Rod to sing on Hush and Mandrake Root as MK1 special guest.

He just only a victim of music industry like Milli Vanilli, the real evil is those promoter and producer

These are quite incredible shots. Kind of eerie actually. The beginning and adolescent period of something that eventually helped change music in the Rock World forever. Such an underrated and somewhat forgotten monolith in time. What a shame there is so little footage and live recordings from this embryo of what evolved into such bombastic and extremely untouchable variations within the name and outside within the whole family tree. How happy and lucky I feel to have been attracted to this band from the first time I heard HUSH in 1968 and followed all their escapades throughout all the changes and splinters. Able to meet and hang with the band multiple times is icing on the cake. Hopefully again in Biloxi this August.

Something that is truly amazing and surreal for me here was going to his Ticket Museum Site and finding a ticket from my first Deep Purple Concert which happened to fall on my Birthday, at the Orange Bowl Stadium in Miami on August 26th, 1974. Plus ELF with DIO opened for them. Click the link below:

Who would have thought that almost exactly 40 years later for my Birthday, I am going to see them in Biloxi on what will probably be their last US Tour? We will arrive in Biloxi on my Birthday and will see Purple 3 days later. All I can say is that I truly have been blessed and I do not take any of this for granted. My Lord and Savior gets all the credit for allowing my path to go as it has and He alone gave me the opportunity to experience what I have in the process.

Can’t wait to see and hear the greatest rock band ever assembled, up close and personal for my 58th birthday. YEEEEOOOOWWWWW!!!!

He did much worse than that my friend. Ever see the Playboy After Dark Television performance? His gold jumpsuit was atrocious. Might be why he was fired. Yet ironically, 46 years later, the man responsible for firing him now wears green tights, a pointy hat, fluffy white shirt and turn down calf high boots…. Nah, I guess it probably wasn’t the wardrobe. Or maybe it was. TMIB may have hated being out staged. Either way, those were the days my friend…..
