Paicey’s kit for sale
Ian Paice’s drum kit is for sale on the Pearl forum. Apparently this is the actual kit Ian played for the last couple of years, not a replica. Apparently it is being sold by the son of Steve Morse’s guitar tech, to whom Paicey gave the kit. As we have no reasonable means to verify validity of these claims, interested parties are advised to proceed strictly at their own peril.
Thanks to Marcel for the info.
No good to me, I play right handed……………..tsk, tsk! Now this would be a collectors item if it is genuine! Sheeeeesh, I wonder how much doola it ends up going for??????

September 25th, 2012 at 05:55These series of drums usually have OptiMount tom holders. l see these don’t- probably as a direct ask from Paice or his drum tech. Goes to show that live performance doesn’t really require tom isolation.

One should never sell a present and in this very case it’s a no-go IMHO
How come Ian never play’s with 2 bass drums like Cozy Powell did? He still produces a really good drum sound though.
