Demon’s Eye (Berlin 1971)

Many thanks to Jim Collins for spotting this goodie. A very extended live version of Demon’s Eye from Berlin 1971:

And thanks to all the people who’ve sent us this — Into The Fire from the same show:

Over 35 years on. Awesome find! THANKS! A little subdued but “THEY” just don’t make them like this anymore. Nice little SKOW-like improv thingy in the mid to end section. WHO was that MIB? &&&& whatever happened to HIM???? Oh,never mind. Regards,Drdp

That´s great, so the whole thing does exist afterall! For years there have snippets of the Into The Fire performance from the same source been circulating paired with aftershow audience interviews(most of which were negative!!!).

Actually there is a two part video of this as well on youtube that includes Into The Fire as well:

    Part 2(Demon´s Eye): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6BAKF7Ka5I&mode=related&search=

Well. This one is just…FANTASTIC! (Even Blackmore and Gillan put a smile on on their way through…). And I thought I knew most of the mark 2 live-in-colour-footage…where does this comne from? And – is there more of it?

Thanks so much for putting it on and for spotting it!
