<P>Just wanted to pass some of my recollections on about Deep Purple concerts:</P>
<P>Deep Purple/Buddy Miles, January 22, 1972, Auditorium Theatre, Chicago</P>
<P>This was my least favorite DP performance. Buddy Miles came out and did a set 
  that was mainly based around the song "Them Changes" as he milked his time with 
  Hendrix to the max.</P>
<P>People were there to see DP and they gave them what they asked for. But it 
  was much more of the predictable rock show that night than the other two concerts 
  I saw.</P>
<P>Smoke on the Water was about to hit and these guys were poised for the stardom 
  the deserved.That's really about it. If I remember more (and better), I'll let 
  you all know.</P>
