Connoisseur Collection was partially run by former Deep Purple manager Anthony Edwards, and has several Deep Purple and related releases in their catalogue. I think Tony Edwards are no longer with them, which might be why there's been some weird rereleases of their Deep Purple titles lately, including Highway Star - a 1CD set consisting of the first disc from In the Abscence of Pink, and a REALLY weird 3CD set called Live 1970-1985 which has one disc with outtakes from Scandinavian Nights, and where the two last discs are the complete Knebworth '85-set! Sounds like pointless releases to me.
The most noteworthy Deep Purple related releases are:
Deep Purple: Scandinavian Nights (2CD,
live, Stockholm 12. Nov. 1970)
Deep Purple: In the Abscence of Pink - Live at Knebworth
1985 (2CD, only official release of one of the 1985
reunion concerts.)
Rainbow: Live in Germany 1976 (2CD,
"Rainbow On Stage" outtakes)
Ritchie Blackmore: Rock Profile Vol. 1
(CD, contains prev. unreleased Deep Purple material)
Ritchie Blackmore: Rock Profile Vol. 2
(CD, contains prev. unreleased Rainbow numbers)
Glenn Hughes : Play Me Out/Four on the
Floor (CD, his 1977 solo album, with a weird 1979
disco session thrown in for good measure)
David Coverdale: The Solo Albums (CD,
his excellent pre-Whitesnake 1978 solo albums, "Whitesnake" and
"Northwinds", for the price of one.)
Roger Glover: Elements/The Mask (CD,
Roger's instrumental solo from 1978, plus the guitar rock oriented
"The Mask" from 1984.
Roger Glover and Friends: The Butterfly's Ball/Wizard's
Convention CD, Roger Glover's project with tons of
Purple related guest artists, + the Wizard's Convention session, also
with lots of Purple guests.
