Good gig in Nantes

Good surprise with Not responsible and Wasted sunset and a new WABMC and a punchy No one came.

Disappointments: no Perfect strangers.

Very good rendition of Wring that neck.

The show was professional, energetic and the crowd enthusiastic. Amazing Steve Morse.

Complaints: Ian Gillan’s voice was not in a very good shape. Too short show.

See you later guys. Long live DP.

    Are you crazy?? almost 2hrs is VERY VERY VERY long show. considering that most of the rock concerts last some 80-90 minutes…
    2hrs of pure rock concert by Deep Purple, isn’t that enough?

    you should not complain about the length of the show. On the last tour to south america,in Sao Paulo we got 95 minutes and an IG without voice.

    2 hours is a lot when it comes to Purple, but some other big names are spending 2½ hours or even more. The problem is that Gillans voice is more or less gone these days. I wonder if this is the last time we will see him with Purple live.

    2 HOURS WITH PURPLE IS 5 HOURS WITH 95% OF ANY OTHER ACT BECAUSE THE DEMAND ON THE MUSICIANS PHYSICALLY AND EVERY OTHER WAY IS MUCH HIGHER. REMEMBER THEY HAVE BEEN AT THIS FOR 42 YEARS. AND REMEMBER ALSO THE QUALITY IS FAIRLY WELL UNEQUALED. IN SHORT, THESE GUYS ARE REALLY GOOD……NOW, CAN WE HAVE EVERYTHING LOUDER THAN EVERYTHING ELSE? [I KNOW IT’S OVER USED BUT I STILL LIKE IT]
