The therapeutic effects of cooking

Some time in June, Just before the start of the tour, Ian Paice was interviewed by Paltrocast. He spoke about the band’s writing process, why Deep Purple are more popular in some countries than the others, how he keeps sane on the road, and a few other things. Enjoy!

Thanks to Blabbermouth for the heads-up.

Nice interview – I love how grounded and unpretentious Little Ian is. And a certain philosophical tranquility that goes with it all.

One thing I love about IP is how humble and down to earth he is.
I would love to have a pint with him in a local English pub and say cheers.
    Peace ✌️

I have as yet to see a single comment from you Adel ( unless I’ve missed it ) regarding your impressions of the new album…Are you still in shock perhaps at how good it is ???…

IP certainly put-in a big effort on this album, sneaking superb fills & intricacies throughout…Now that would be something for you to talk about with him lol !…

Also, no-one appears to be discussing the well-put-together & very honest “AAA” video that comes with the Deluxe & other versions. It really is well put together & puts a positive perspective on how the current band goes about its business. And Roger even comments on the sad parting-ways of Steve, which was much needed to set-the-record-straight.

IMO, the video equals what RUSH did on their farewell tour, only this one marks the beginning of a new era !

    Peace !
