Burn, Australia, burn

Glenn Hughes Australia 2024 tour flyer

Australian tour dates for Glenn Hughes have been announced for October 2024. These are billed as the 50th anniversary of Burn, so expect the purple set. Ticket presales start on April 5th at 10:00 AM local time via Hardline Media. Further details available in our calendar.

In other Glenn news, he posted a brief update on his upcoming solo album:

Just finished writing new music for my solo album. Gab went to Minneapolis last week, so it gave me the opportunity to spend time alone recording. Be in the studio in Copenhagen in June. Be well, & Stay Free, & l look forward to seeing you on tour soon.

Thanks to Coast To Coast and Daniel Bengtsson for the heads-up, and to BraveWords for the quote.

    I’ll sneak Gregster’s personal data to Glenn and he’ll pay him a visit with his bodyguards …

    I need something I need something, he he he. I have to give credit where credit is due. Glenn Hughes does venture all the way out here often & for a small gig scenario I couldn’t imagine the financial benefits would be much if any at all. Good on him & when low key attendance concerts like this are in Oz, it always makes me wonder why other bigger name bands didn’t bother at all touring out here in the past. A tad frustrating that is. ELP, Rush, Kansas are a few of those that didn’t get out here, for whatever reason. However when you notice concerts scheduled in Japan, that really gets frustrating for us Australian followers. So close & yet so far. Ho hum, such is life! Cheers.

    @1…

    LOL ! I wish Mr.Hughes all the best for this tour, & those lucky-enough to be able to go see a gig will be well rewarded gauging from all the positive reviews posted in here.

    That said, I do remain confused in my thinking since I thought the “Burn” tour was finished, & a new tour to back-up the new album from Black Country Communion may well-have-been the next touring sequence…Along side his own new-solo-album prospects…

    Good to be busy !

    Peace !

    Tasmanian, I don’t know how to break this to you, but I believe you missed your historic opportunity to be included in (Imperial) Japanese tours long ago … 😑

    We didn’t entirely miss out Uwe, we all owned, or most of us, JVC, Pioneer, Sony, Sanyo, Nakamichi etc etc etc. So we did import a few things. I will leave out everything else otherwise this site may crash from a plethora of listed items beyond all comprehension. Made In Japan indeed! Cheers.
