Another achievement for Flesh & Blood
Recently released Whitesnake’s Flesh & Blood album has reached #3 on the Official German Album Chart issued on May 17. What is interesting however, is that according to BraveWords, this is the highest chart position for Whitesnake in Germany in all of their career.

May 19th, 2019 at 18:54I don’t think WS latest album will match DP Infinite worldwide sales. I am not been biased but DP Infinite is the ultimate complete album. This WS album is targeting specific audience. No its time to shut up and kiss. Peace and love to Mr Coverdale and his team at WS.
May 20th, 2019 at 07:38Maybe this record looks great as the quality of todays music in general is below any standards. But lets ask ourselves – can this record be compared with say, Lovehunter or Restless Heart (whatever period you like better)? Compressed noisy sound, predictable guitar play, awful drumming (to understand it just listen to The Purple Album, where Aldridge completely destroyed superb songs), generally low musicanship, just a couple of decent melodies, the best track Can’t do right…. is present only as a bonus on a Japanese edition. It is not about “how good it was back then and how bad it is now” it is about production and songwriting quality. In all fairness, how can you compare Marsden, Moody, Vandenberg and even then-cheesy Sykes with Aldrich, Beach and Hoekstra? Not songwriters in my book……My opinion only, of course
