California Breed live debut
California Breed will play two gigs on both US coasts, which appear to be one-offs: May 28 at the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles and May 31 at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City. Tickets for LA are already on sale, with NYC starting on May 7.
Thanks to Daniel Bengtsson for the info.
Interesting to me that a bevy of gigs aren’t materializing. They may in due course, but I figured they could hit the ground running in Europe, at least.

May 5th, 2014 at 21:12Larry I would be interested to hear a bit more if you feel like expanding.
May 5th, 2014 at 21:31Just two dates?!
May 6th, 2014 at 00:53Grammercy Theatre a small venue. Been there done that. An old converted movie house, fits about 500 people. No-brainer for those who are thinking a must see gig. My gut feel is that this band is going to be average at best. A wait and see proposition for me at this stage of their game.
Peace,

LA and NYC only? Gotta be some sort of press/marketing efforts. Go go go!
May 6th, 2014 at 20:35May 31 I have a wedding!!!!
May 6th, 2014 at 20:37This band could be on a massive world tour in a heartbeat, especially of these type venues(the LA one). @Brad we talked about it, The Whiskey is a pay to play only venue. In this case it is promo, and for a band like this worth it, but laughable in terms of class.
May 7th, 2014 at 03:00Look, I’m not going to carry on about music here, it’s not even my place yet because I will only listen to a “copy” if I “buy a physical one” because the label only streams or dl’s for me), but PR antics is another thing. All I’m down on here, Glenn is a matter of Purple fan base maximization. I’m alright with that, as long as I’m listening to that record a year from now. 😉
