On the first anniversary of Jon Lord’s passing BBC has aired a documentary Jon Lord: It’s All Music narrated by Rick Wakeman. Those in the UK can watch it on BBC iPlayer. For the rest of us, the usual suspects to the rescue:
Thanks to Andrey Gusenkov for the link.

July 17th, 2013 at 01:04I can’t believe it’s been a year.
I never new Jon or even met him, but through listening to his music, either with Purple or his solo material. I almost feel I did know him in away. I know it sounds weird but that’s the way it feels.
It was said about the late great BUDDY RICH and It can definitely be said about Jon. “We will never see his like again”
Thank Jon RIP

July 19th, 2013 at 23:03What a wonderful programme, loved it. Many thanks for making it available.
July 20th, 2013 at 06:05Henrik @ 12 – Yes, there were a selection of Wakeman interviews with a variety of artists. Each show was about 50 minutes or so, I forget what they were called. Only a couple of years ago, I watched the Tony Iommi, Jon Lord & Ian Anderson shows. They were great! Cheers.
