Paicey in Paderborn

On May 17, Ian Paice and Pete York openend the Drums ‘n’ Percussion in Paderborn, Germany, the biggest festival of its kind in Europe. So far only one clip is available, short but stunning (watch Paicey’s luminous sticks):

    I consider Ian Paice to be one of the greatest drummers of all time–as many of you do as well, I am sure. But he is also one of the greatest soloists. His use of dynamics should be a point of study for any aspiring drummer.
