Luxury real estate, designer retrospective and… Deep Purple
Now what?! is featured in the latest podcast of German international broadcaster Deutsche Welle lifestyle show Euromaxx. It is rather bizzare to see the band covered in a show that features such things as luxury real estate on Mallorca, a Bouroullec retrospective in Paris, and eating raw cuisine. They also offer a free CD signed by Roger Glover and Ian Gillan at the end of the segment if you get in touch before May 10. Watch it on dw.de: in English and in German.
Thanks to Yvonne Osthausen for the info.
With all respect to every country across the globe why the centre of promotion is shifting to Germany? Their biggest market? Just a thought…
April 29th, 2013 at 21:18So “Vincent Price” is going to be the new single, and they are shooting a video for it as well. To me, this is good news. Good to hear that they are making a video, good to hear that they have picked this song. It´s a very cool song, performed with humour and energy. And I love the lyrics, the homage to the old horror movies (I´m old enough to recall them with joy). Interesting to see Purple in a show like this as well, but fans must be everywhere by now. I love this album and I think Deep Purple is in a good place right now. Good luck with everything guys! MIKE

April 30th, 2013 at 21:39Just watched the ‘Behind the Music’ episode on VH-1 Classic. This was just as good. The VH-1 show was basically a compilation of old pre-issued interviews….
Either way, great to see Purple with so much exposure. As it should have always been….

May 1st, 2013 at 04:26Europe and Asia big DP fans. Here in the USA they seem to be like a misplaced heirloom. I cannot figure out how one of the top 3 bands ever gets misplaced. (No#1) in my book. I might get to hear SOTW or Hush on the radio once a month. Hopefully-the radio plays something from their new album….holding my breath.
