Hughes on TV Rock Live
Glenn Hughes continues to promote the new Black Country Communion album and gave an interview to the French site TV Rock Live. He talks about BCC, David Coverdale saving him from his cocaine addiction, the late Jon Lord, and other things:
Thanks to Blabbermouth for the info.
Touching words about David Coverdale. Very touching.
October 11th, 2012 at 19:17Very good interview.
October 11th, 2012 at 20:11Anybody notices in the song snippets a cover of Rush “Tom Sawyer”?
Anybody knew Glenn had a heart attack in 1991?
I didn’t know that he was so heavy on drugs…
From the other side, Hughes as great and superb singer that he is, he’s also troubled and sensitive soul…
October 11th, 2012 at 21:59Very excited about the new BBC disc (and tour)!!!
October 12th, 2012 at 04:17Oops, that’s BCC of course 🙂
October 12th, 2012 at 04:18Nice. I support Glenn. I’m glad he made it through the hard years and is among us, singing his heart out and head off!:)
October 12th, 2012 at 08:38The heart attack, the heavy drugging, DC’s role in Glenn’s life – it’s all in Glenn’s book. Buy it, read it, you won’t regret the investment. And you will understand a lot more about Glenn’s sensitiveness.
October 12th, 2012 at 10:42I just call him GOD…no artist have touched my soul like Glenn, and he had a huge influence on way to sobriety ! When I struggled the most…I listened to his music for hours, wich helped me through the worst pain….and for that alone, I´m eternal greatful…!!! THANKS GLENN…!!!
October 13th, 2012 at 17:10I wanted the book, but build an aversion when there were again made up several versions and insane prices.
Hearing so much that it is MAINLY telling in detail how a junkie lives did not help to get inspired to buy the cheap version…….
I ll get around it sometimes.
Glenn, thank you so very much for many great albums and great shows.
October 15th, 2012 at 10:07I’m a big Hughes fan and was looking forward to the book when it was released. I was very disappointed when I read it. I read a lot of biographies and Glenn’s book was easily one of the worst. Just a lot of talk about drugs, basically.
October 15th, 2012 at 18:53Stefan, you may call him God, but Glenn himself thanks the One and Only God All Mighty himself for his recovery. There is only one….
Cheerz
October 16th, 2012 at 01:10@ Thats the same what Muslims say about ” their” Allah.
