    Great interview with Coverdale, he always impressed me with his vocal style & his writing with Blackmore was wonderful, not into his cheesy cheap smutty type lyrics so much though. Soldier of Fortune, is a brilliant song! I was a fan of the early Whitesnake British albums, Ready & Willing & Saints & Sinners etc! They just happened to have Lord & Paice in the line up as well, which is how I stumbled upon them in the first place. I didn’t get into the later mid 80’s commercial albums at all, grew out of it by then.
