December 2nd, 2011 at 03:04a MASSIVE discount at all! quite expensive.
How can you go wrong??? Will buy this for sure. Though I’d rather it be the New Purple Album instead…..
Cheers
December 2nd, 2011 at 06:24Must have. Hopefully Jon is doing well with recovery.
December 2nd, 2011 at 08:52Just a little side discussion – wouldn’t it be cool if Deep Purple would collaborate with Glenn Hughes on one song, just one song, on their next album?
December 2nd, 2011 at 18:37It will likely DP’s last studio album, then why not bring in a member from the past to write and perform one song. I’ve seen pictures with Glenn Hughes, Roger Glover and Don Airey posing together, I’ve seen one with Hughes and Paice, and those were taken in 2009/10/11. I’ve also read an interview with Ian Gillan, were he said that Hughes is a great musician and he respects Hughes for that. The current line-up seems to be ‘friends’ with Hughes. Come on, wouldn’t it be great, just one song.
Lord and Blackmore won’t come back for one song, so why not Hughes…
The ‘beyond the notes’ dvd (the best one ever from Jon Lordin my opinion) should be available worlwide and with a cheaper price too…
December 2nd, 2011 at 21:28Great to see Jon Lord as always………..we hope he is well & can collaborate on ‘that’ album with Blackmore some day soon……..put the magic back into the “Purple” again, well you know what I mean……….those two together again, says it all really……….wonderful comments from Lord regarding the award for innovators………MK1, MK2 & MK3 certainly were just that, as were so many other great bands from that era……….

The discounts obviously do not apply to this brand new release.
Scroll down and check out the prices on Jon’s older material.
To Notice Such Things and Durham Concerto at roughly $12 incl. postage is a pretty good price – and you’re supporting Jon directly, not Amazon or any other chain outlet. Think about it.
We would love to sell all of Jon’s albums, but right now these are the ones we could get good prices on. Don’t delay.
December 3rd, 2011 at 13:21Thanks Rasmus. I am a longtime fan so i have everything else. Even the european Pictured Within DVD release.
December 4th, 2011 at 02:21@8 Oops, i meant the ‘Beyond the Notes’ dvd.
December 4th, 2011 at 02:40Of course I’ll support the maestro ! Months ago I bought the ” Jon Lord Live ” CD from his website and its worth every penny… Hope, Jon recovers pretty soon !
December 4th, 2011 at 09:53The word “brand” lights up here and leads me to one of those commercial shit contests : (
December 4th, 2011 at 10:30Probably something om my pc?
It`s allways good to see Jon on stage. But the band is pure, the concerto should played like in 1969………I saw Jon in Liverpool last year…….he played “Notice such things”….which is a very great album….the band was great…..a real hard rock band….Ritchie will never perform this concerto again…..the guitarplayer Mark Zyk did a realy great job………..it´s something right to see a “man in black” with a with a stratocaster on stage.
December 8th, 2011 at 11:44For me it`s not worth to pay it…. like the Deep Purple Album Live in Montreaux…it only money money money…….the Concerto from 1969 is the only original things.
I´m waiting for Jons return…….to record a “new” album.
