Phoenix Rising US release
After Phoenix Rising was released in Europe, several people have complained (despite our warning) that the European DVD would not play in North American DVD palyers. Well, the domestic release did not make wait long — it’s due on June 28 via Eagle Rock Entertainment. Three packages will be available: DVD+CD, CD+DVD and blue ray. We’ve covered the details earlier. We are being assured that the contents will be identical to the European releases, but we could not get a firm responce about all the extra booklets.
Order from a store near you:
Amazon.com also displays an only DVD edition.

When’s it due out in a Australia? Went to the shop & saw nothing. I think this release is overated. As it has just the usual Rises Over Japan Footage & nothing more . Plus Tommy can hardley play because of his injured arm. Also noticed a brand new vinyl copy of Who Do Who Think We Are selling for 48 dollars? The price is very high , considering it’s not one of there best albums.

January 24th, 2014 at 16:16Most ALL DVD Players can play any disc. Before they leave the factory, the format that a particular player, (depending what part of the world it is being sold in) has been set for that region. Most are capable of playing multi region discs. Look up online ‘DVD Hacks’ for your player. There will be a list that should include your player. Follow the instructions and you will ‘ reset’ your player to play ALL formats/ Regions. The Factory sets a limit on your player (for money/sales reasons?) to play a selected Region only. Following these instructions will not harm your player. You can always revert your player back to ‘Factory Settngs’. I hope this helps someone out there.
