Why still make albums, it’s only waste of money! No-one buys this one either. This world is gone, boys. Keep on truckin’ on the road. Forget making new songs and new albums. The money´s is on the road. Go get it.
Oh,great. This is being put out by the same label that put out Glenn Hughes’ “Live In Wolverhampton” CD…which supposedly was released a month ago, but no one on the planet seems to be able to acquire. I hope they do a much better job of making Roger’s album available to us!!!
TALLY HO !!!!!!!!!! ~ THEY SAID AFTER THE ENDEAVOR { THATS NAMED AFTER CAPTAIN COOKS PROUD SHIP } ~ STS 134 SPACE SHUTTLE ~ UNDOCKED LEFT SPACE STATION A FEW DAYS AGO !!!!!!!!!!!!! ROGER IS A REAL SUPEREST GREATEST HAPPIEST HIWAY * HES KEPT EM GOIN SUPER GIGANTICLY LIKE THE GOD THOR !!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE KNOW ROGER ALLWAYS GOT MORE JOLLY GIGANTIC ADVENTURES IN STORE !!!!!!!!!!
Reading the most recent Glover interview regarding new Purple material, I think he is a real driving force in the band. I think it is sad that a band like Purple has some members saying “it’s not worth doing a new album because they don’t make money”… I’m a musician, I know albums don’t make money… I wasn’t born in the 40’s/50’s, I missed the boat, and you have to work with what you have… which is of course the world we live in now 🙂
(which isn’t 1972)
I’m sure the chaps earn enough out of their tours to afford rehearsals and studio time… I understand Paicey has a studio in spain? do it there…?
Well done Roger for remaining inspired and delivering the goods.
@7 Roberto. I know, I know. I was trying to be ironic (without smileys). I sure hope Purple will make another album. And they will, I bet. And I bet, I love it. I love everyone of these old geezers. They’ve already made so much enjoyable music that I’m only grateful for that.
All very well but we’ve waited SIX YEARS for an album and all while the band his been existent and without line-up changes. They’ve had ample time to get solo stuff out of the way. Come ooon guys!!!
