Steve Morse in Birmingham Post

British newpaper Birmingham Post has published an interview they did with Steve Morse:

Any news of a new Deep Purple album?
We’re always trying to get started, but these tours keep popping up. Recording is very nearly a volunteer endeavour, and touring pays most of the bills. Despite that, as a group we are committed to doing a new record soon.

When is the Steve Morse Band coming to the UK?
One problem keeps coming up. Compared to US clubs, European or UK promoters ask for more notice up front. Deep Purple is always holding me every month for tours and ideas that are in the works, therefore, when there is a hole in the schedule, it’s usually with not enough notice to book a tour outside of the US. So, the answer is when DP decides to schedule some time off!

“Anyway, normally when we play Smoke, I’m respectful of the fact that I’m playing Ritchie’s riff, but it’s still fun to do!”
This is why I love Steve, he’s just so OK and so great person – nevertheless musically I’m on Blackmore’s side 🙂

I do wish they wouldn’t admit it’s all about the money!

    George says:

There’s even more interesting thing Steve says about the setlist of the upcoming UK Tour of Purple. he said that fans would get Old hits (as usually), new(er) songs and SOME MID-PERIOD OBSCURE TRACKS….

I wish they play Gypsy’s Kiss, Strangeways, Call Of The Wild or Anya from the so called “mid period” 🙂

    George says:

btw, Steve is for me one of the best person from the musicians which I appreciate. he’s simply THE MAN!!!
    Rock On Steve!!!
    we love you soooooo much….

Dear Steve and all the other members of the purple touring family.
I have something to say about your world wide job and something about your family life. I would imagine, that we (the fans) don´t know how much is that, to be in the DEEP PURPLE touring family.

At first to the band and touring crew:
Thank you very very much for your time and love, do you give us with your music and work and with your never ending touring around the world for us.

At second to the families of the band and crew members:
Don´t forget your own family-life. They need you and not at all your money. Thank you to your families – for their support and understanding and great love to their daddys and husbands.

    The summery is:
We, the fans, have to say THANK YOU not at all to the musicians.
We have to say a great THANK YOU to your families for their support to make it possible that we the fans can experience DEEP PURPLE all over the world.

My wife will kick my ass to the moon, if she will see me so rarely 😉

When the SMB briefly toured shortly after Steve joined the band, one of the songs included in the pre-gig tunes leading up to showtime was in fact Anya. He digs that tune. Yeah, would be cool to pull that one out again…

    Peace,

    Ted

Steve Morse is a very nice guy…

Maybe he couldn’t make classic meals like Blackmore did as well as memorable riffs..
Maybe he doesn’t a rock’n roll star with uneliviable actions and attitude..
Maybe he comes from a different background of rock music…

But he give a new breath to Deep Purple’s life with his characteristic and down to earth manner…
And he have an amazing guitar playing that deserves to be adored..
We love you Steve, our hero. Keep on rockin’
    Cheers !

of course it’s about money. we all have to pay the light bill. just give thanks DP has bills to pay too. more bills more chances of them coming back to your area for a jam session. in addition, mr. morse has done a great job NOT trying to be mr. blackmore. only one original exists. thanks.

Tracy Heyder aka Zero the Hero says:

    Hey Steve,

Bring you equipment up the road a little further to Tennessee. I lost my hay cutter. He moved. I have 50 acres of fields that need cutting and rolling. We can kick back and do a little hunting and jamming between cuts…..LOL. Hey, I thought you lived in Ocala, Florida..we used to be neighbors. I moved to Tennessee 3 years ago. When did you move to Georgia?

Great to read this interview. The tour and set sounds promising. An Album too. Title should be “2010 a Purple Odyssey”……with some really heavy, spaced out tunes………

    Cheers

    Crimson Ghost says:

Of course it’s about money, not one of us would be reading and commenting here if it weren’t, whats so damn hard to understand about that?

On the other hand, if touring is paying the bills then the bills must be awful damn high, ya think?
If making an album is a volunteer thing, then why not spare a few quid for the fans that go to all the gigs and invest it in a new album more often? It has to be worth at least that much, do the friggen math why don’t ya? One or two nights pay out of each pocket should way more than suffice, ya think? It’s paying so much more than bills, it’s lining the retirement accounts and providing trust funds for the kids and whatnot too. If all touring did was pay the bills, then just purchase an oil rig for the wife while you’re out there making enough to do so, lol!

I just can’t buy that one Steve, I’ve bought enough thank you.

    Rare rant over!

    purplepriest1965 says:

DP has been a major impact on my life in general since 1977

Financially it more than once direct or indirect led to a situation which should not have been there if I had balanced more in a healthy and sane way.

I dont buy into the crap that are too poor to invest in an album
This is a time every simple soul can make albums at home thanx to modern technology.

    stoffer says:

GREAT INTERVIEW, also great comments from the “true fans”, as well as the negative ones from who else??

  14. 14
    Masse says:

Problem is, most of the people making comments here are ordinary people at ordinary jobs with ordinary salaries.. You don’t have to (and couldn’t) pay for management and maybe 30 or so other employees out of your own pockets. You’d be working all the time too..

With the profits (nowadays) from albums/recordings being close to nothing, I can see why they want to make an album when they have a chance to see it break even financially..not being a cause of debt to a record company and never bring in a cent. Touring is where they have an honest chance to make money to pay for their organisation..of course they´re on the road all the time, what’s so hard to understand about that..

Setlists are a different subject though.. I’m in league with everyone here that think they should try and alternate more tracks…Such an amazing body of work, come on Purple-guys!!..I know you’re still hungry!

  15. 15
    HZ says:

Well, it’s about money right now for simple reason that there is huge difference between people when they are twenty and when they are sixty. In twenties their talent explode and they never think of “life responsibilities”, now, they are playing old things that are like perfect wave (as Satriani said)you just need to ride it and collect some more money. So, my friends, that’s the deal nowadays, we’ll never have that band from seventies that made what’s called DP legendary. From the other side I’ve started listening to Steve Morse (SM Band and old Dixie Dregs, and I like it), I like DP’s albums with him (but much less then true DP albums), except that I don’t find them to DP. It’s more like some good band that keep on playing legendary Ritchie’s riffs from DP with some of new stuffs. And I’m not malicious, because Gillan does not contribute to DP as he did in Mk2 days – not same voice, not same style, a lot of bad feelings towards the guy that came with riffs he’s singing tunes for it – I wish they could keep it for them selves, because they have nothing with music.

  16. 16
    purplepriest1965 says:

    Masse

Are you suggesting that you know people here and are able to rate and judge them?
Even better……suggesting that they are too SMALL and disconnected with the realities of the DP bandmembers so that they should shut up~?

    Ordinairy people……

    Are you different?

    Sounds abit cocky your reply.

You seem to underestimate peoples thinking.

Ofcourse there are a lot of imbeciles but……

In general people KNOW that we live in a MONEY TALKS world…..
But they are not able to have an opinion because they are not Deep Purple themselves?

I understand the MONEY ISSUE but…..

If they would love music, love their fans, have good ideas and abilities …..
Why not make some CREATIONS in the form of NEW MUSIC?!

    As I said…..
Recording does not have to cost that much…..

    Times have changed indeed
Making money with new albums is very hard

Again, there s no reason apart from being lazy or lack of ideas or something like that , to put out new stuff on a regular basis.

    The SETLIST

Steve is implying there will be surprises soon……
It has been kinda evident uptill now that…..

    1
Or they keep on rehashing the old stuff too much because those seem to be favoured by audiences over the Morse era tracks.
    Justified impression or not….

I always said that they should have stayed more to their guns and promote the NON RB songs longer than they did.

    2 When they did those…..
Morse era tracks PLUS rarities like No One Came, Pictures from Home and so on…..
They seem to go down very will with the audiences.
So why not pursue that road?

I dont know if they are still hungry

    Hungry for money?

  17. 17
    Svante Axbacke says:

Two thoughts on this: I don’t think Steve is implying any big changes in the setlist. What Steve says about the setlist is how they seem to describe the setlist these days. Everyone if free to disagree or agree with the definitions, of course.

As for the recording “problem”; Why not write new songs and then play them live direct without going via a studio? Then record live.

  18. 18
    Crimson Ghost says:

    @13

Describe to us your definition of “true fans,” we’re all ears.
    Good luck with that.

    @17
Second point taken very well, I couldn’t have said it better myself, my last post is a testement to that, lol, Svante.

    Cheers

  19. 19
    stoffer says:

@ 18 Describing a “true fan” of DP is a no-win situation, we’ve been through this all before. I as well as everyone here has their own opinion and we would all agree to disagree!!
    Cheers

  20. 20
    purplepriest1965 says:

    @ 17

It is a good idea Svante.

But it has been suggested many many moons ago by amongst others as a great way to find out if the audience does respond positively.

It must have been around the PURPENDICULAR days when the atmosphere everything is possible now HE is gone.

Dunno why they did not go on with the idea.
A lot of things should have been possible after 1993
I admit that his leaving could have made a difference in a positive sense as well.
In a certain way it did……

    But…..

The adventurous setlistapproach the freshness of the sound on stage and so on…..
    It did not stay.

A friend of mine voiced his idea why Gillan did often sing badly during Blackers days……
Gillan was nervous because of Blackers.
Well, we all know the problem started before the reunion and did rise again and again after Mister did It all left…..

I m not going to argue whats a true fan or something childish like that but being there since 1977, Hi George!!!!!, is saying something ……

    purplepriest1965 says:

    Sorry, forgot words….again…

    craig neely says:

Why does it sound that some believe that Deep Purple owes us something or that they don’t deserve to be paid for their craft? The only thing that they owe us is a good show when we pay for a ticket and a good album when we buy it. They are artists. We are fans. And artists deserve to be paid for their work.

I paid $75 American to see Deep Purple in Linkoping, Sweden and $17 American to see them in Sarajevo, Bosnia. Either way, they delivered an excellent show, regardless of what I paid, and that is all that concerned me. Although people try, it is impossible to justify sappy parents paying $200 for their 13 year old daughter to see the Jonas Brothers in Philadelphia, as money is the only factor there-don’t even think about artistry.

That we can pay reasonable ticket prices to see truly great musicians play songs that we love, even though we may want to hear other songs that we love, should offer us comfort, not emnity, because Deep Purple’s musicians make money using their talents, without raping our wallets.

It is more important to be thankful for what we have than envious of what others have and we don’t. I find comfort in Deep Purple’s music, and their commitment to an art form–it is inspirational. If the artists can profit from their ability to help me at a concert or from afar, good for them. It’s cheaper than psychotherapy.

It’s as if you said that a negative comment equates a ‘false fan’ so please explain that much at least.

  24. 24
Tracy Heyder aka Zero the Hero says:

I have to state here that the Money argument is totally outlandish. To not respect the fact that after 40 years for some and 30 years for others in the band of playing music, recording music, touring their music and overall pumping out incredible albums and tunes over this period, and not figuring that they might just want to take some MONEY for their efforts is again, totally outlandish and to those self centered fans whom are harping about it, GROW THE F..K UP! Yeah, they don’t put out records every couple of years, but at least in between, they are constantly giving the Fans and the World a chance to see the Greatest Rock Band on the Planet play Live. It’s a fact that they are compensated for their touring…..Good for Them. I donate my bucks to their shows whenever possible. They have entertained me for 40 friggin years and they deserve more than they have gotten. They have bills just like the rest of us….except theirs are probably larger. It’s all relative and each has their own way of life. Nothing wrong with them ‘Thinking of Themselves’. It’s Their Life. It’s up to us voluntarily to be a part of it at OUR level, which is not Their Level. They are the Makers and Performers of the music we (most anyway) love, and to those whom are friggin whining about how much they make against how many records they make is like a spoiled little brat crying to their parents about not getting enough toys because they know the parent makes enough to buy more…..IT’S UP TO THE PARENT to decide how much to go give or not, based on how that parent wants to budget for savings, their own purchasing, or gambling it away in a casino. It’s the Parents choice as it with Purple.

What a bunch of petty little children here, complaining like little brats about what Purple isn’t doing for them…..

    Cheers

    T says:

Without a product to support, Purple are relegated to tribute band status and not too much different than 70’s bands with few original members doing the state fair circuit. Fortunately, Purple enjoy good-sized audiences and some of the most devoted fans in rock music and attendance remains good.

Steve said, “I am having trouble with recordings that are so digitally corrected. . . the ones my kids listen to.” Recording an album can be a simple and inexpensive affair, especially with simple equipment. It is not necessary to produce overly processed, sterile recordings. It is time Purple return to their roots anyway, and Morse is perfectly capable to show the way–with Airey at his side. Even a Blackmore-less, Lord-less Purple has the ability to crank out some killer tunes–given the chance.

With the current technology, even distributors are redundant and cost becomes a relatively weak argument.

  26. 26
    stoffer says:

@ 20 since 1977 congrats thats a long time!…..been there since 1973…and have enjoyed every MK of DP

  27. 27
    Pete says:

One thing is for sure, when you get Deep Purple tickets you don’t have to worry that the show will be cancelled because Steve is pissed about something. As much as I love the Blackmore era DP, quite a few times the shows were cut short because TMIB seemed like he couldn’t care less about being up there playing or not. Never really interacted with the crowd. Steve almost always comes out after the shows (in New York anyway) and says hello. Ritchie is happy playing his Lute so leave it be. Keep playing Steve. See ya in NYC on the 26th !!!

  28. 28
    stoffer says:

    CG @ 23
Negative comments as long as they are constructive are fine and do not equal a “false fan”. I just get tired of the same old comments that basically say no Blackmore no DP, no Lord no DP. Again, IMO!
Steve Morse has saved this band from collecting dust, Airey also. Deep Purple has evolved and its fans should as well.
(enough of this subject) craig@ 22 & Tracy @24 well said!
    Cheers

  29. 29
    purplepriest1965 says:

    @ 27

I m convinced certain things are being blown out of proportions.

People tend to read and hear THINGS about others, in this case DP and related…..

And after a while think they know how things and people are.
And they seems to be very convinced even though enough knowledge or experience is lacking.

One could say that I do the same
    Well, in a way I do…..
    But……
I try to correct myself and imply that it is speculation or my perception and NOT a conviction.
    Apologies where ever needed
    I m not perfect

I personally, and here it comes……, NEVER met Ritchie in person.

    Although I could have maybe……

I just did not think about at it at the time when it was perhaps possible to meet in Rotterdam or it was not possible for one or two reasons.
And later on I just did not feel like doing so because I was not totally, ahem, enjoying myself at the BN concerts.
I already had that unrewarding experience with Gillan and co 3 times in a row
when I was there but felt sad and criticcal due to the line up change.

An other reason was and is that sometimes you are with friends who dont have the same passion or interests.
They are not willing to wait after a show because they have to be home in time to catch some sleep before the next workingday begins.

Based on what I READ in the past RB seemed the most unfriendly asshole around.

That was probably, Freud speaking here, unsubconsciously part of the reason I did not dare to put some effort in trying to meet?

I was scared out of my wits that it would be a nasty confrontation.

    Well, thats one side…..

I also have read that he can be very friendly and hospitable.

I attended lots of shows since 1980 and NEVER had the experience that he did cut it short or behaved unprofessional during the gig.

Only in Paradiso in Amsterdam it occurred the show was cut short and what happened?!

Ritchie in person came onto the stage to apologise and explained WHY they stopped the show!!!!

There seemed to be an annoying buzz or disturbance in the sound since the beginning of the performance which I had not noticed…..

    So that was frustrating yes…..
Espescially because I heard from others that he played a 3 hour show in Groningen, the day after.
I recall they recorded there for that double live disc?

So, for ME not much to complain about on a regular basis.

I was kinda critical of HOW he played up till the S and M tour.

Stylistic I resented that RB did not adopt his majestic style of the heydays.

Gillan was often not in good shape, to say the least.
Lord whiddled too much with synthesizers, espescilaly on the albums.

Paicey, which had shown so much diversity, subtlety and swing since 1967 seemed to have gone totally simple in style as well.
Maybe the Whitesnake and or Gary Moore days had rubbed off in a bad way.

But to call that uninterested or something?

About not interacting with the crowd.
He seems kinda distant, reserved perhaps is the word?
I never felt that he failed as a person or artist because he did not act like some others.

It s like saying a cat or a dog has a bad charactre because it does not give you some kind of warm attention and welcome.
Not very woman is attracted to every man.
Is she a cold bitch because of that?

    @ 24

    Parents?!

Mmmmmmmmmmmhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, never saw them that way.
Although they have been a large impact on my life.
Maybe there is a resemblance after all………….
I expext from BOTH nothing but the best because I m convinced they are able to.
When they dont its very dissappointing and frustrating, yes.
Although one is able to forgive them almost anything ……
    After a while one thinks……
    Hey…..

THEY CAN DO SO MUCH BETTER

So, I agree with, again, T and not with Tracy and Craig
Even though they seems to handle it all quite professionally……
    They can do much better

    1
It should not be that difficult, expensive or hard to put albums which have NO fillers, a good production.

Hell, SHADES OF DP is a hell of an album and then they did NOT have the money and equipment all those years ago!!!!!!

    2

They should be able to diversify the setlist much more

Ofcourse we re now back where we allways are…..

I have given up hope that, after all those years, they will make different choices..

    Conclusion…..

It will probably more or less stay this way and we will go on about the same frustrations again and again…..

Yep, it might be very wise to bag it all and put energy in other things.

But I m not wise, hehehe

    Bob Lawrinz says:

Thank you Craig @ 22 & Tracy @ 24 for your comments. I agree wholeheartedly with you.

The band are entitled to do what they like. Be glad there is a band and the possibility of a new album. The possibility of a new tour to States would also be great. I’m so glad for Steve and Don. Because of them, the band has evolved and has produced some great new albums. More to the point there still is a Deep Purple to argue about.
Quite frankly I’m fed up reading the same old stuff from people who obviously don’t like Deep Purple anymore.

I also would like them to be more adventurous with their setlist but I am not in Deep Purple and have no say. I accept what I get and am grateful.

  31. 31
    purplepriest1965 says:

    Hi Bob

I know where you re coming from and a part of me understands you very well.

Why lingering on with something which hurts like hell?
Because I do love what they were and could be…..

Its the parent thing. I dont want to feel emberassed by what my heroes do.

    And…..

Deep Purple is NOT only what happens now and since 1993

Its a BIG LEGACY which moves people like me every day and thats why there s a good reason that THS should show some more pics of the other line up members as well…..

Hell, even pics of related people would be so wonderful

    Tony Ashton
    Ronnie James Dio

    And so on……

Showing just and forever mainly SM is an insult.

Unable to except that DP continue to excite and enthrall a world wide audience.

These people will continue to moan when DP have long gone…….its what they do. A glass half empty, dwelling on the past, and enjoying their misery……

I too am grateful for a fantastic band, and if they get rich, fill up their pension fund, and have a great time……………….then we have winners all around.

Those who aint winners are just losers.

  39. 39
    purplepriest1965 says:

Unlike DP who charge around 50 E we had tp pay max 25 E

For 2 good hours of classics played with great heart and virtuosity in a intimate club…..I dont feel ripped off.

It was quite a travel though although Americains would shrug their shoulders when confronted with such a distance……

I do not own a car and so in this so called perfect country one gets stuck after a gig when one does not find fellow companions to get a ride back.

Btw, getting rid of a certain simplicity might help you to enjoy Jon Lords work?

Or is it the Classical side you as an Americain cant endure?

I feel Classical Music is more of an European thing.
Espescially in The former Eastern European countries one sees a lot of people who like that.
Thats why one sees people like Nicolo Kotcheff from Brazan Abbot rising up over here and not in the USA.

I suppose you prefer the south americain injection above the old classical injections of before into Purple?

  40. 40
Tracy Heyder (aka Zero the Hero) says:

First off….I do enjoy Classical Music from time to time. As a Mainplay? No. Just as with certain Rock music. Sometimes I feel like listening to basic 3 cord Bar Rock, and then sometimes I feel like 80’s hairband ballads, then sometimes I feel like Southern Rock, and so on. I do listen to Some Country Music also. To not like Classical Music at all would make it hard to like Purple as much as I do. They derived much of their sound after it. It would be much more Classy if you would refrain from jabbing my American background. It puts you in a very vulnerable place that you obviously can’t Drive away from if it gets too tough in response. Again, as you seem much more narrow minded than me regarding your variety of musical interest, don’t hold your Taste so above anyone else…..seems to be a small window of view. If it isn’t European, you seem to have a problem….

I presume you have never been to the States. I have been to Europe. Loved it. Hope to go back and see more. But it ain’t like Home Sweet Home. Of course, the way our present President is going, it is beginning to look a lot like we are headed Backwards, to what we fought to get away from. All this Socialist Crap being shoved down our throat. Everything that was left behind and done away with is now creeping back….I detect another Civil War in the near future…

I might have made the wrong assumption that you dont like Classical Music because you dont feel for Jons work?

I think its a fact that , just a neutral thing IMHO, that Eurpeans are more rooted in Classical music while Americains are more inclined to Blues and Jazz.

It does not mean I think in America there are no great orchestras, on the contrary,or that over there no people who have the same passion for Bach as me.

I think I have stepped on your chauvinistic toes and I know that I did not say things out of a certain anti Americanism.
I just feel certain things dont mix very well.

I love, for example Y and T but to say I think one of their members would fit right in DP? Nooooooooooooo

I might not have been there in your wellbeloved country but lots of things appeal to me in a positive way as well.

Loads of Americain bands for example.
I think there is much more but ………also more negative as well

    Socialist Crap?
I wonder if Svante will stop this thing in its tracks because of the political nature, , that would be another example of inconsistency IMO, but maybe……

I m not a lefty although a lot of views I have would be seen as such over there.

I know Americains have an inborn resentment towards influence state and so on but to call latest try outs in a different direction crap?

    Vulnerable?
Because I spoke out towards things which are clearly, TO YOU,related to chauvinistic holyness? .

I dont feel this is getting too tough.

Although it might vanish after posting due to forever changing moderating moods.

I sense they are trying to balance more lately.

I m not that chauvinistic about my own country although……….

in recent times I noticed shift in thinking related to growing worries on Islam rooting in Europe and the lack of, mainly left politics, sense of urgency and danger.

Theoretically you may call me a commie but………

I know it will never work as long people think they are better and have more rights than others.

I’m not going to go all political here. You read my response and answered. Good enough. I do not call you a commie. That’s for you to know. I call you a fellow Purple fan, with different views and from a different background.

Funny you make mention at the beginning of #39 regarding Ticket Prices. You as usual find some weird point to ridicule Purple in comparison to whoever you prefer at the moment….right now that is obviously OTR. Well in that vein how about I am going to see Blackmore’s Night on November 1st where they are charging $30.00 to $40.00. Steve Morse is playing 2 days prior and tickets are going for $18.00. So….based on your evaluation, looks like Steve is the MAN!!
Talk about Band for the Buck….

    Cheers

It s a lot money I never spend on BN…..
And I think OTR and alike might need the cash more than DP.

    I dunno about Steve…..

Did he get loaded in DP or…..?

I d not go to see a Steve gid even if they payed ME!!!!

    Kidding…..

    But I d never travel far…..

    I noticed, dammmmmmmmmmmn, a inconsistency…….

I must confess I like loads of Americain fiddlers……

    Scot Gorham
    Dave Meniketti
    Jimi Hendrix
    That guy from FOGHHAT

And I love certain Americain singers

    Ronnie James Dio
    Joe Lynn Turner…..
    Dave Meniketti
    That dude from FOGHAT
    Steve Perry

    Goodnight folks

    Svante Axbacke says:

Another note about ticket prices. The band doesn’t set the prices. Well, they do as far as their fee of course influences the ticket price. Of course it will be cheaper to book a band like SMB or OTR than DP because DP has a much larger organisation that they have to pay for. BN also has a pretty large entourage while I guess SMB get their stuff pretty much into a van and drive off.

    @ 45

It s a recession for most of us.

Maybe they could budgettize a bit?

Skipping both the rabbit and Candice would help?

Why dont DP get back into a van like in the old days?
Maybe now and then stripping Roger of his clothes and leaving him on the cold highway, hehehe

I forgot, they are too old for that. They need the comfort.

    I m still confused though…..

All that gigs must have made them very wealthy.
ROTD outselled many allbums, Gillan said.

Where does all the money go?!

    I m getting poorer everyday.

    How about them?

Tracy Heyder (aka Zero the Hero) says:

You see, here’s where it always gets ridiculous. When one complains about how much money another makes. It’s about choices, ability and effort. Money Talks…to me and most other folks. Don’t have enough? Find a better job. But never begrudge another’s success. Isn’t that one of the complaints most of us have, is the lack of Record Sales that our Heroes deal with? Record sales is Money and I wish they could sell Millions of their next Album. I wish them the best and they deserve to be more successful and popular than they are. But they make up for it by touring extensively. They are Human…they want it all. Good for them. I hope they get it all.

    Cheers

    purplepriest1965 says:

    I wish EVERYONE enough money.

    Yep, me commie……

    The record sales…..

    Its not only DP fault…..

One should have lowered CD prices ages ago and it would not have come this far that they have to ask ridicilous prices fro shows to get by.

But, ofcourse, this an old discussion too…..

    Should reinstall my grammophone again….

    Me getting old too….

    What the hell……

I m gonna put on that Maxi single, unreleased I think or is on the latest ripp off best of by Rainbow?, with Stranded and All Night Long……

Ofcourse there is no God, No justice, No Hell……
And everything will continue this way…..

I suppose you did well Rascal?

Hopefully not at someone elses expense……

    Otherwise…..

Earn enough and retire….BUT, EARN ENOUGH. Then there is no Bitching about having enough. Don’t have enough??? Keep working, or get a better job, or MOVE. Like the Ethiopians….’No Food?, No Water? No Fun?….MOVE! No need for others to send clothes and food….MOVE! I wasn’t happy with the neighborhood where I lived…I MOVED. Got a Job. Living the Life. Get off your ARSE. MOVE. Better YOURSELF. It’s nobody else’s problem.
