Gillan Philharmonic at the City Of Steel
Ian Gillan will perform two shows with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra in early September in Germany under the Classics Play Rock monicker. The tickets are already on sale for both Gräfenhainichen and Magdeburg. Both shows are all reserved seating. There are VIP packages being advertised for the Magdeburg show at €250. Please be advised that these VIP packages include a pre-show dinner at the Otto von Guericke Hall in Maritim Hotel Magdeburg and a seat in the first two rows, but there is no promise made of any backstage or meet’n’greet access.
Great! If I could, I’d be there:D

February 5th, 2009 at 14:06what is gillan philarmonic????? cheers and long live DP.
Variation and creation is what DP Mk8 members need now, so they can arrange and produce something new for their next alum and next tour (and next set list of course). Gillan, Morse, and Airey are doing great with their solo albums and shows. So what about Glover and PAice?
Maybe I can wait for Blackmore’s Night with orchestra?

February 5th, 2009 at 15:59It’s great to see these guys constantly going out and playing in the various forms they pursue….HAT’s OFF to you Mr. Gillan….
andre sihotang..#3:
Variation and creation is what they always do. There are 2 MK7 and 2 MK8 albums….none of which sounds anything like each other. I can’t complain about the Newness of their albums. They are all different. Now, what I would like to see is a real strong, heavy, crankin’ album, with lot’s of jammability though….
Cheers
