Glenn Hughes at the NAMM
Glenn Hughes was interviewed by Eric Blair at the NAMM, which was held January 15-18, 2009 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Glenn talks about his plans, his life, the F.U.N.K album, and the much discussed here and elsewhere Mk3 reunion, which he says is definitely not going to happen this year.
Thanks to Blabbermouth.net for the info.
Did he just get out of bed?
Go to 3:41 for the Mark 3 question. Same old blah-blah.
January 24th, 2009 at 02:39yep. somehow i get a feeling he’s the only one interested in any kind of reunion, but the others keep saying no.
January 24th, 2009 at 03:18Looks good for his age and past indulgences lol.
January 24th, 2009 at 14:07will not happen for this year?????
January 24th, 2009 at 15:54Will not happen at all, sorry Glenn, stop spreading rumors.

I was at that show. Ginasio do Ibirapuera, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
January 25th, 2009 at 01:03It’s a sports ginasium, not the best acoustic so far… a lot of echoes. Really don’t know any DVD of it.
Glad we have better show’s houses here now.
Mrk III, yes at any time. Better today than tomorrow, but also better next year than never. My only problem about MrkIII will be that David Coverdale are not able to sing like he did in the old days.
January 25th, 2009 at 09:11A DVD with DP and Turner. Great. I will buy it anytime.
if I remember well there is a bootleg with soundboard sound of the gig in brazil…
January 25th, 2009 at 10:46Most of the entire tour with JLT can be found on audio and DVD bootlegs.
January 25th, 2009 at 15:39There are a few SBD’s and two average pro-shot DVD’s transferred from TV recordings.
One from SA that I do recommend, as I don’t find hardly any of the shows to be Purple’s standard of performing, and I do mean the entire band, is Sao Paulo 91 DVD. That show featured some shit hot playing and guitar smash.
Frank Miller, if you have to buy a bootleg these days, then you’re getting ripped off, and you can do better than that, for sure.
the isreal concert probbly is the best cd bootleg of that tour…
January 25th, 2009 at 17:08He who shits on the road will meet flies on his return…………………
January 26th, 2009 at 16:46He who follows flies, may step in his own shit…..
January 26th, 2009 at 17:45@ 12
So true concerning Ritchie in this case, tee hee! I’m sure his return to Sao Paulo was met with a few flies who didn’t care for what he brought.
