May 10th, 2008 at 16:05Given the state of music these days, this is good to see…and even better that it’s a Purple family member.
May 11th, 2008 at 16:36Cudos to DC. I’m glad to see it was well received and it goes to show that Purple Style Rock is alive and well. Is it my favorite? No. But then again neither are a few of the others he did. As with all artists, there are ups and downs, and true fans relish them all and enjoy.
But, it is damn good. And it’s “Good to be Good”…..
Cheers
May 11th, 2008 at 17:02I second that opinion! Well said Tracy!!

SHAME ON THEM!!!!!!!!
Whitesnake will support Led Zeppelin on their 2009 world tour, as said by David Coverdale.
May 13th, 2008 at 09:02At least Whitesnake will have current songs to give the audience. Zeppelin will most likely not put out a new album and will do a Greatest Hit’s Tribute show. What a shame that would be. Jason Bonham, the drummer for Zep is also the drummer in another “Greatest Hit’s Tribute Band”. Foreigner. Again, they are touring on their old hits and not being creative at all. Quite the rip-off and very unfair to the newer members of the bands whom have to follow along in past members shadows.
Cudos to PURPLE members, new and old. They constantly produce something new and of quality for the fans.
May 13th, 2008 at 14:10I’m quite sure David said in the mid 90’s he wasn’t going to bring Whitesnake back again & he was going to retire from music. Have been listening to songs from this album on you tube, it’s musch better than expected. The guitar sounds modern & heavy , nice drumming plus David’s voice still sounds good. The album really does souds like Whitesnake when you hear it. All the usual thing’s David likes to sing about love & relationships . Just can’t understand why radio isn’t giving this a go. Soon as something new from Bon Jovi , U2 0r Pearl Jam is released it’s on radio all the time.
May 14th, 2008 at 13:13I agree George Fotis; the new Motley Crue song is receiving plenty of airplay here in Minnesota, but nothing from Whitesnake. And “Rapture Of The Deep” was totally ignored two and a half years ago. Very Frustrating!

A few days ago I was on my bike to the gym and looked into peoples houses.
What did I see?!
A big “Good to be bad- line up/group pic” POSTER on some one’s wall!!!!!!!!!!!!
In my own city of concrete, glass and stone. A city where HOUSE and punk rock and other ***** rules.
