Glenn Hughes: Liverpool is the place for me
In advance of his upcoming concert in Liverpool, Glenn Hughes is featured in an online article where he details, among other things, his memories of that fateful concert in 1976 when it all seemed to be over.
Thanks to Keith Thompson for the info
I am proud of Mr. Hughes to be strong enough to overcome his addiction. He is a better man than I am. Congratulations, and keep rockin’!

May 9th, 2008 at 19:53Not going anywhere Tracy; Just a comment! I’ll have a toast to you and your band.
May 9th, 2008 at 19:59Thank God……
hey, just jerkin’ your chain a little. Glad to see your still out there in Purple Land, and enjoying reading your entries.
Let us tip the Gobblet and rejoice in all that remains Purple..
Glad to see Glenn still remaining Purple. It’s where his door was truly opened as with Coverdale and they remain in the Family Tree, and have no problem giving creedence to it as they venture through their present and future efforts.
Cheers.
May 10th, 2008 at 00:26I’ll drink to that! But not until Monday, have to work the weekend.
May 10th, 2008 at 13:42I really admire Mr. Hughes’s energy/ability to produce
new music(very often, that is)…his creativity is an inspiration, and there
seems to be no end in sight for this great artist’s
activities.
Let’s have a drink to Glenn, so KIPPIS(cheers in finnish)!
May 10th, 2008 at 19:33KIPPIS? How is that pronounced? I will add that to my toastes…..
Cheers
May 11th, 2008 at 17:18‘KIPPIS’ is pronounced as it’s spelled, basically.
‘HÖLKYN KÖLKYN’ is another popular Finnish toast-word…

Have a good week Tracy, Seven-47 & everyone else…
