Roger Glover in a new message on his website tells us that his new solo album is nearing completion:
My hope is to finish it over the winter and have it ready by early next year. The title (of course, always subject to a second look) is CLOSE-UP.

September 15th, 2007 at 12:33i met rodger at the ruth eckerd hall show and gillian glover was even there rushing the guys to hurry up sign some autographs and leave ! but the guys dident listen and i got a chance to meet deep purple rodger signed my ticket and asked me did i enjoy the show and i said hell yea you guys are the best or something ha ha …… i can just remember how much of a nice guy he was he must have signed 100’s of autographs assuring he would get to everyone .. he gave my mom a hug and kiss on the cheek .. then ian gillan came up and kissed her on the mouth !
