Notes from the road, again
Not a month after the previous ones, the new Notes from the road appear on Steve’s site. The joys of home, sweet home, ice machines, 24-hour convenience stores and private jet — read all about it on stevemorse.com.
Thanks to Daniel Bengtsson for the info.
He says: “Thanks to all the people who have supported live music in the States. It’s still possible to tour here because you leave your homes and turn up at live venues.”
This is so true. If we in America want to see Deep Purple, we have to keep on showing up at the venues and encouraging our friends and family to go, too. Unfortunately, they didn’t come to KC as they had the last two tours (despite a large crowd). Vielleicht das nächste Mal.
August 26th, 2007 at 02:50Steve, thanks for touring the States. I saw DP twice. Can’t wait to see them again.

Keep touring the states DP and we will keep turning out, St.Louis in July was the best show I ever saw. Thank You very much Steve…………..
August 26th, 2007 at 03:44Thanks Steve , first of all , for being in DP and creating such fresh , innovative music . I was at the San Antonio show , it was perfect , and good for the soul .
It would be nice to have a show sometime that featured all newer music from Perpendicular on up to Rapture ; a brave undertaking , but one I wish for . Maybe a live CD compilation ( 1996 material to now) from different sources .
Nice typing to you , thanks for reading . Looking forward to your next studio Long-Player .
Kind Regards , Mark Campbell
August 26th, 2007 at 06:38It’s nice to know he recognizes the fans efforts to support the band. I can’t always get to where they’re playing, but since they don’t always include Kansas City on their itinerary, I go wherever I can. Luckily they included KC on a few tours, so I’ve seen them five times here. But I’ve also traveled to Denver, Omaha, Chicago (x2) and St. Louis (x2) to see them as well. I haven’t made a trip yet that wasn’t worth every penny!
August 26th, 2007 at 16:28Steve, what a great concert at the Warfield.
Most of my comments were summed up by Mr. Campbell (see above).
Thanks very much, you’ve kept this Purple fan proud over the last 12 years.
Thanks,
