Live in London to be released in September
DPAS reports that the long awaited Live in London is due September 3rd on EMI as a double CD set. Recording has been remastered and partially remixed. EMI has dismissed plans of the new version on vinyl, but DPAS is contemplating a limited edition release on another label and ask to drop them a line to do a head count of interested parties.
Thanks to DPAS for the info.

July 15th, 2007 at 17:01A pitty I ´ready had bought the japanese edition a month before the remixed complete concert was announced. Live in London is one of their best things, and remixed it may be that it is as good as the live in Paris, which I doubt, but let´s hope…
July 15th, 2007 at 18:58Long live DP dressed in WHATEVER skin!
Hi folks,
July 15th, 2007 at 23:21This is really very exciting news, ’cause I’ve always felt Live In London was way much better than Made In Europe. However there isn’t going to be any Lady Double Dealer track on it as the Mark III line-up eventually still had to write and record that rocker by then!
Still I prefer this Mistreated version to the one included on Made in Europe.
I also like the Jon Lord announcements on this one….
Good news!!!
Lets just hope they never, ever remaster ‘Slaves & Masters’
July 17th, 2007 at 14:43AH live in london… an awesome record, get it on vinyl and listen to ritchie smoke!! PERSONALLY I really like slaves and masters, and maybe a re master with extras would change peoples minds…

I have the previously unreleased ‘Gillan Whistles The Shower Time Blues’, its a damn fine piece of work. Im waiting for the remastered version that contains the extended ‘Wand Dang Doodle’, and the charming ‘Beaver Slide Rag’ tune
Heard on good authority that Roger Glovers efforts playing ‘Hendrix’ on the electric can opener Should hit the shops soon……………cant wait!!
No doubt JLT will jump on the band wagon…………not sure where his talents lie though
July 18th, 2007 at 15:14can’t wait, i bought this on LP back in 82, my little sister got it for me, as the record shop was near to the school she went to, after listening to it, i gave her a fiver for kindly getting it, when the hell are they going to release the remastered version of stormbringer
