Montreux’2006 in Amazon charts
Although we have no official data as to how well “They All Came Down To Montreux — Live At Montreux 2006” DVD have sold, here are the highest Amazon chart positions (in Music DVDs category) that this release have achieved since early June:
- #14 in the UK, (amazon.co.uk)
- #1 in the Canada (amazon.ca)
- #5 in Germany (amazon.de)
- #21 in the USA (amazon.com)
Mind you, Amazon charts are updated hourly and are extremely volatile. For example, #1 at the Canadian Amazon was observed yesterday, July 1 (Go, Canada!), but as of the time of this writing it’s not even in Top 100 Music DVDs and only at #21 in Classic Rock DVDs. But that’s the best data that we have.
You can order the DVD from an Amazon store near you:
Thanks to George Kikonishvili for the info.
Must be hard up for news!!

July 3rd, 2007 at 15:20I’m glad anytime these guys are in the public eye. Deep Purple is the most under-rated, ignored band in the rock world. Fortunately, DP fans are real fanatics and keep the flame burning.

please, can you give us the official info about how many copies this dvd sold? anyway, this unofficial amazon charts seems to be great for DP 🙂
July 7th, 2007 at 00:10THIS IS HOW GREAT THIS BAND IS. I HOPE I DON’T RUB ANY ONE THE WRONG WAY BECAUSE I AM A HUGE PURPLE FAN, BUT THE SHOW WAS NOT EVEN ONE OF THEIR BETTER PERFORMANCES AND IT STILL MORE THAN DELIVERS. VERY FEW ACTS TODAY CAN COME CLOSE AND IT DOESN’T BOTHER ME THAT THEY FLY UNDER THE RADAR. I HAVE A FEELING IT DOESN’T BOTHER THEM A WHOLE LOT EITHER WHEN YOU LOOK AROUND AT THE “BIG” NAMES AROUND THESE DAYS.
