Royal Albert Hall

The concerts on Saturday and Sunday were a thirty year dream come true for me. As a youngster I was always interested in mixes of classical and modern music and always regretted the fact that I didn't find out about the 1969 concert until after it had happened. I did see the Gemini Suite Live, which was some compensation, but what wouldn't I have given to go back in time to experience THE concerto. Thanks to my heroes, it was possible to make that journey last week - I had to keep pinching myself to prove to myself I was really there.- And what a wonderful set prior to and after the main event. The whole of the evenings were perfection and words cannot describe my emotions - Only tears of joy !

Thank you Deep Purple for the glorious music of the last thirty years. I hope you will keep it up for many more years to come.
