THS publication policy

The Highway Star is a site run by the fans, for the fans. Most of the material on THS was not written by ourselves, but submitted by our readers. Here are some ground rules for submissions.

  • All submissions must be within the scope of our site: Deep Purple, its past and present members.
  • You have the right to publish this material. In other words, you have written it yourself, took the pictures yourself, etc. If you didn’t do it yourself, you have obtained proper permission from the author.
  • As a rule, all material submitted to The Highway Star will be published under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike Licence. If you have a problem with that, contact us by email and we’ll find a solution.
  • By no means this implies that everything we have on our site is published under this license. If in doubt, ask.
  • All submissions will be considered, but we reserve the right to deny publication without explanation. Although often we try to explain the reason.
