US dates confirmed
We now have 15 confirmed dates for this summer Deep Purple US tour, plus one very unconfirmed Canadian one.
The tour will start on July 14 in Lewiston, NY, and finish on August 16 in Saratoga, CA. Ticket information is still rather sketchy at this point, but when it is available, the tickets will be going on sale within days. There are some presales here and there, but at this point we have absolutely zero info on how to get into one. Please post comments below or at the relevant date if you find out.
Update (Mar 24): for Lynn, MA, show turns out that the “Fan Club” is one for the venue, not the band. Presale code is ‘Deep’. It might be advisable to check with other venues directly for presale passwords.
There’s still a gap in the announced schedule from July 14 to July 22nd. As I was posting the dates, the news arrived that lineup for this year Ottawa Bluesfest was leaked, and the band will be headlining on Saturday, July 18th. Fingers crossed, other Canadian dates may follow.
Full details in our calendar.
Thanks to Rich Shailor and Jim Corrigan for the info.
Not sure if I can see them this time!

March 24th, 2015 at 01:02Maybe they will still add Northwest area dates, Larry? Mountain Winery in Saratoga still a possibility again for me, but not guaranteed as last year was for me going.

March 24th, 2015 at 02:36So, if they are writing we’ll hear new stuff at these shows.
March 24th, 2015 at 02:40Yawning already at the thought of the same show twice if they get up a little further in the west. Oh, I got gipped for the drum solo last summer, but is that reason enough when the real action isn’t until again sometime next year?
March 24th, 2015 at 03:04YEA!!!
March 24th, 2015 at 03:09Is there any dates in Toronto Canada?
March 24th, 2015 at 03:15If my maths doesn’t fail me, that’s 15 times more US concerts than UK concerts in 2015. Thanks guys!!

March 24th, 2015 at 16:42The Orange County Fair again? SWEET!! I can guarantee you that I will not wait until after the opening band to try and buy a shirt, they were completely out by then last year. Anyone got a line on an X-Large from last years American Tour?
March 24th, 2015 at 16:47Trying to see the Laughlin, NV. date in August!
March 24th, 2015 at 17:10Tracy it looks like Nashville is our best chance this year and its on a weekend 🙂 that’s a good possibility ‘unless they add some other dates’ but we like TN because we’ve been to Chicago the last 2 times…………..maybe we will see you there!! I do hope they change the setlist somewhat
March 24th, 2015 at 22:44cheers
Please tell us LRT, how many times have you actually seen the latest ‘Now What’
tour LIVE that you are Soooooo Tired of it????? ONCE!
I saw it ONCE. I am more than willing to see it AGAIN. I drove 10 hours to Biloxi to see it. I would do it again if I had to. “Time is All the Matters, Time is All we have”. Time will run out and there will be a day when you won’t get the chance to be so Snobbish. They will be DONE. My recommendation? GO and have a GREAT FRIGGIN’ TIME! 😉

March 25th, 2015 at 00:41Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights, MI… YES!!!!!
March 25th, 2015 at 10:56What a shame that the UK is viewed with such disdain these days, wonder what the fan base did to upset them over the years , sad really to forget their roots its almost an insult to play the one date they are playing in the one venue that is a nightmare to get to,has dire acoustic and is unlikely to be more than 1/2 to 3/4 max full so zero atmosphere either .
March 25th, 2015 at 13:48Still they did give us the re-mastered Made in Japan so we can always give that a spin to remind of how good they really were in their pomp.
They better add a Chicago date !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
March 26th, 2015 at 03:20I’m going to Chihuahua Mexico to see Deep Purple ,see my parents and other family then is back home and wait for the Saratoga show in California. Last year Costa Mesa show was greeeeeat! the band played in a full 8000 seater venue
March 26th, 2015 at 06:52Larry
Can you explain me something?
As far as I can remember you are one of the die hards on board here and maybe more importantly you told us you did not see the Purps in years.
How many shows you ve been to in recent years when it was time to finally get your piece of the action?
How is it possible to get bored so soon?
March 26th, 2015 at 10:44Looking so forward to this STOFF:
Agreed here regarding changing up the setlist. Hoping for more MK7/8 tunes and especially more from Now What and who knows, maybe a tidbit from the next LP. That is doubtful though being they haven’t had any studio or session time that I am aware of. 2 songs from Now What need to be played live… “Out of Hand” and “Weirdistan”. Still pulling for “Sun Goes Down” from Bananas also but I don’t see that happening either. All 3 of those would be great sounding Rockers LIVE. Either way, I’M FRIGGIN’ THERE! 😉
Their official site states more dates are being planned so keep posted. I like the fact that there are a couple of days after the Ryman show that aren’t booked. That gives the band more time for aftershow meet & greets due to not being rushed to head to the next gig and they can also relax, spending a little time in Music City checking out the local Pubs. Also there are a couple of days open before the gig and if that stays that way, they will have time to hang around the area beforehand and also will be fresh and fired up to play. Hope it stays that way though, I wouldn’t mind another date scheduled in close proximity. Should be an awesome gig and I wouldn’t be surprised if it is taped for future release. The Ryman is an Iconic venue and the sound is incredible there. CAN’T FRIGGIN’ WAIT 😉
See ya there

March 26th, 2015 at 14:47Great! Got my ticket, can’t wait
Here was the setlist from the last time they toured the states:
Highway Star
Into The Fire
Hard Lovin Man
Strange Kind Of Woman
Vincent Price
Contact Lost
Uncommon Man
Well Dressed Guitar
The Mule
Lazy
Hell to Pay
Perfect Strangers
Space Truckin
Smoke On The Water
Hush
Black Night
Here’s what I’d like to see this time:
Smooth Dancer
Apres Vous
House Of Pain
Vincent Price
Contact Lost
Uncommon Man
Well Dressed Guitar
The Mule
Speed King
Hell To Pay
Knockin At Your Back Door
Space Truckin
Smoke On The Water
Hush
Highway Star
I did not include the solos because we all know where they go. There are other songs I’d like to include instead of some of the usual but I figured it would never happen.
What do you think about this setlist? I think it rocks!
March 26th, 2015 at 20:50On George’s Set List: I like House of Pain (in fact I like most of Bananas), They can replace the Mule with something else for the Drum solo. I really don’t need to hear Space, Hush, and Highway yet again so soon, and Smoke, well I wouldn’t mind if it was left out as a lark but boy would the bandwagon fans be scratching their heads (they could do them with a couple of more “radio friendly” tunes as a medley, maybe an entire album set as a medley). I would love Anyone’s Daughter which obviously places me in the minority.
What I am really hoping for, though it won’t be this tour but maybe for the 50th, would be a set list that reflects the entire studio album catalogue from MK I through today (yes, even Slaves and Masters). It would be a long evening but to keep I.G. in it the MK III/IV could be a short medley. Wishful Thinking?
March 26th, 2015 at 22:01Saratoga, for sure, possibly Southern CA and Nevada, too! As for above set list – not so varied as you might think, extremely possible. Smooth Dancer, as opener, I’m in. Also, if they play 15-16 songs, I’d like to hear half of those from current lineup period.
March 27th, 2015 at 05:08@29 DP played a number of UK shows in UK late 2013 and indeed put on an extra one at the Roundhouse. However, I think some of their bigger arenas on that UK tour didn’t have great sales. Maybe makes more sense to have one bigger UK show at o2 (and I thought acoustics were great in November 2011 when DP performed orchestral show there). Unless TicketMaster have more floor/lower tier seats to release, there’s are only circa 500 tickets left for floor/lower tier and so I think a 15,000+ audience might be possible utilising the upper tier of o2 which they didn’t do in 2011
March 28th, 2015 at 20:37I live in Virginia, which seems to be off the map for these tours. I am, tentatively, looking at the 8-2 Nashville show plus a few days bouncing around town with the Mrs while I am there. Love to meet up with Tracy and other Highway Star fans if we make the trip.
