Jon Lord gets new official website
Jon Lord finally has a new official website – JonLord.org.
In its early stages the website will host news on Jon Lord’s concert and recording activities. Gradually it will develop to also include personal messages from Jon Lord, discography, tour dates, etc.
JonLord.org encourages comments, suggestions and discussions related to Jon Lord, so don’t hold back on your comments.
Recently I created a myspace……….
I like it to put on some tracks of favourite music of mine…….
Unfortuantely Jon does not give tracks to ADD……..
That might be a deliberate choice, I don’t know…..
Anyway….Nice to see this….
Will jump onto it right away……
Way to go, Jon!!!!!!!

October 20th, 2007 at 23:35Dear Jon, My name is Scott. I am a guitar player/keyboard player. I have always loved Deep Purple. In one of my first bands we played space truckin, smoke on the water, highway star along with the Black Sabbath and Zeppelin list. I can play just about anything on the guitar, and I do alot of more intricate Kansas keyboards. I worked on your Burn with sheet music at my side and it came out pretty good. But now, you blew me away with the intro on Nobodys Perfect, to Knocking at Your Back Door. You are unbelievable, not only did you master the Hammond organ, your classical piano is unstoppable. I did purchase the sheet music book, Nobodys Perfect, hoping to find the music to your intro from classical to what seems to be honky-tonk, and it wasn’t there. Jon, I was hoping if you could take the time to send me the names of the compilation listing in which you incorporated into your opening. I would love to learn it. Thank you for your time, and you are always in my playing as we all learn from our heroes.
Thank-you,
Scott Tideschi
