Colin Hart interview revisited
The official YouTube channel has posted an expanded version of the video interview with Colin Hart. Colin started working for the band as a roadie back in 1971, then became tour manager for Elf, Rainbow, and post-reunion Deep Purple. It was probably recorded shortly after his retirement from the band circa 2001. Many of what he said has been greatly expanded in his autobiography.
Nice job, Colin Hart !!

November 28th, 2014 at 06:08Right, but this did go around before already. I take it’s just the entire piece with other questions not pertaining. I like what Alket said. π
November 28th, 2014 at 06:09I’m sure it was going around, I hadn’t seen the whole thing. Must be from about 2002. Jon was still alive when this was done, and was leaving DP then.
November 28th, 2014 at 06:11I believe this was 2001, yes. Thing about Colin(pretty sure you’ve had the opportunity to meet him) is that you can’t get enough once he starts talking. lol More!!!!! π
November 28th, 2014 at 06:14And that is a bad thing? π Met him and had several conversations with him over the years. π I miss Colin doing what he used to do, but glad he is happy how things are for him now!!
November 28th, 2014 at 06:16It’s a bad thing if you only have fifteen minutes or so, a better thing if they let you on the bus. π
November 28th, 2014 at 06:18Very very true! π
