Ian Gillan interview

KNAC.com has a rather lengthy interview with Ian Gillan about Gillan’s Inn album and tour and about DP. Nothing really groundbreaking and a usual sprinkle of Gillan’s exaggerations (somebody please tell him that the average age at Purple concerts is far from 18, even outside of America). But here it is anyway.

    He´s juding from his perspective it seems. For the first few rows and those who appear backstage it certainly seems true, he doesn´t get to see much of the rest.

    IG about 1993 tour : “The band had never played so badly”. Really ? As far as I know, Ritchie and Jon had a lot of great inspiration -listen to boots to see-, which made those shows especially enjoyable to listen to.
