Another MISS for the Good ole’ US. And I do NOT believe for one MILLISECOND that GH would do 250 shows a year if it were not for Joe Bonamassa hitting so many different places on his solo tours. Since Mk IV broke up He has NEVER done a proper tour here. That’s 36 years people! Selected dates in major markets do not constitute a real tour. His reluctance to hook up as a support to a major artist belies the fact that he does not like to tour extensively. Look at the parent Band, MY GOD they truly are Road Rats but now to the point of saturation. Glenn will never be accused of this!

March 6th, 2012 at 17:24Gene Simmons is a fantastic bassist and also very educated and funny! Hope he plays many Deep Purple songs on this tour and does them justice.
March 7th, 2012 at 07:22KISS made some very enjoyable rocksongs, IMHO.
I take it on its own merit, I guess.
For years I dismissed them and AC DC when compared to DP , saying they were way inferior and so on.
But , getting older and all that shit?, I gave up in the last 5 years and tried to be more honest about it.
I cant help it, Bon Scot Era AC DC and Status Quo(original Line up that is)and KISS sometimes(…)still exite me as much as when I was 14 : )
And there are ofcourse more bands I usually, being a Deep Purple snob, dismiss.
Oh yeah, I endulged myself for years with an outing of the KISS manager way back in 77 that KISS was ofcourse not be compared with the OLD(…) Deep Purple.
Snob, snob.
Rock Rock.
I M on a Highwayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to Hell, whahahahaha
March 14th, 2012 at 22:10“I dismissed Kiss and AC DC when compared to DP ,I say they are way inferior and on…(I don’t like their like style and most of their songwriting)” No, I’m not snob, I just judge by listening, it’s a matter of taste…There are other bands that I like a lot which I can compare (in terms of quality) to Deep Purple without saying they are inferior…but Kiss and Ac/Dc are in my point of view.
