I thought it will be a recent interview about Colin’s book.
This is 5 years old. This interview is from Rainbow – Live In Munich 1977 2DVD on 2nd disc.
October 23rd, 2011 at 01:02The intro centering on RB perfectly represents what an amazing and influential guitar player he is. How many young potential players (including me) saw him play and were blown away by his delivery and musicality!! He helped shaped Hard Rock and ensured that the legacy he has left was based not just on excitement but above all great musicianship. Long Live Ritchie Blackmore \m/
October 23rd, 2011 at 06:39Can´t wait to read his book!
Love the documentaries as well.- Wasn´t there supposed to be a documentary on Made in Japan?
Take care
October 23rd, 2011 at 12:18Where / when was the footage taken around 1:47 ? pop deux?

October 25th, 2011 at 21:22Ordered the book, have not heard from it since.
Is it delayed?
October 25th, 2011 at 22:47@7: Yes, it is delayed. Check the comments here: http://www.thehighwaystar.com/news/2011/08/28/colin-harts-book-details/
October 26th, 2011 at 04:54Anything and everything advertised on the net gets delayed, so I rarely pay attention to pre-orders. Plus, my last name starts with a T, so it’s that far into the alphabet before my items are shipped. I can order the item the day it comes out and it will be here in 1 to 2 days, not some three weeks after release because I pre-ordered. I won’t bother with this unless it gets released for Kindle, unlike many books on my list. But I do look forward to it, in fact if I manage to get comped it will see a global review from me. Otherwise I won’t be able to promote it. Wymer has my addy, but so far have only sent order info… I thought he knew I was an online mag editor.
October 26th, 2011 at 07:00Still no book in the mail : (
November 11th, 2011 at 13:45– I too wonder what happens to this project.
I still haven´t received the deluxe edition.
November 21st, 2011 at 18:07And still no book!!!!
November 22nd, 2011 at 21:56I’m pleased to say the slipcases are finally in stock and shipping has commenced of all back orders. Thanks to all for your patience. If we had known how long the damn things would have taken to make we might not have even offered a deluxe version, but hopefully you will all enjoy the product when you receive it. Once again sincere aplogies for those who ordered this a while back. When we were given supply dates from manufacturers we had no idea they would take over a month longer. I know it isn’t much consolation to customers when we say it was beyond our control, but sadly that was the truth of the matter.
November 27th, 2011 at 10:34Well, I certainly hope it will reach my door before X Mas.
December 3rd, 2011 at 00:09It s too late for Sinterklaas : (
The book is great Colin! Thanks Jerry for sending the slipcase along as the books needed a home! Looks great too with the very colorful tickets/backstage passes collage. I have enjoyed Colin’s book MUCH more than Glenn’s book as the former talks about music and life on the road, whereas the latter is Glenn celebrating his rebirth and shaking off the chains of addiction. That, he should rightly be proud of but, it wears after awhile and you find yourself wanting to know more about his music career, not how much coke he did. Most all of us have our demons… i still have a few. Maybe someday i will write a book? All said, both books are recommended!
December 4th, 2011 at 02:37I received my copy : )
December 7th, 2011 at 15:09The book is a great read.
Although I d like to add noticing several inconsistencies and his English in print originates from a Geordian background?
December 10th, 2011 at 15:56#17 Agreed, I mentioned this on the DTB Blog. Some of the sentence sructure is …. kind of strange?…
December 11th, 2011 at 18:49– Thanks for a wonderful book. I really enjoyed reading it.
I wish more books by the insiders in Deep Purple were written.
