Montreal venue has not changed

Contrary to what you might have read on other music news sites, the venue for June 6 Deep Purple show in Montreal has not changed. It will be held at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier located inside the Place des Arts complex. Yes, we are sure.

The source of misinformation was an error in a press release issued by a PR company who shall remain nameless.

Thanks to Arlene Slavin for the info.

I assume Roger will be back for the American tour. I think it’s great if he takes time out with his family, no problem there.

I have reacted though that there’s no official word whatsoever from DP themselves that they actually have a replacement for Roger on this European treck. If I’d bought a ticket I think I would accept the fact that Roger’s not there if they’d announced it. Otherwise… The guy that stands in for Roger had a couple of weeks notice, and that’s what the fans should’ve been offered as well.

I don’t mind them doing the shows, it’s just a bit unfair to keep the audience in the dark.

Did you take too much coffee or something?

I originate from Mars but why is that of interest on this particular thread?
