Espescially the picture gathering of all the DP members……
January 31st, 2010 at 20:11Dear AndreA, no one is forcing you to get on Facebook. But if you are on there, you can get our news there as well.
January 31st, 2010 at 22:34I am not a computer guru. I grew up taking a cigar box to school (mandatory equipment) filled with the slide ruler, rubber eraser the size of Herman Munster’s head, and a pencil that took one whole redwood tree to make. Sorry dudes–I’ll pass. thanks
February 1st, 2010 at 10:50Nothing wrong with bringing DP-news all over the internet !
NOT on-topic, BUT :
Ronnie James Dio news :

Cheers to you all !
February 1st, 2010 at 10:57This remembers me of a funny song Tracy Bonham who recorded a song called MYSPACE……
She too felt a bit overwhelmed by the many options Internet brings us to introduce us to the world.
I got my own pc quite late, around 2004.
I expected(…)a lot but it dissappointed me in general.
MEDIA OVERKILL is certainly a problem.
The Scorpions had a nice song about that on the SAVAGE AMUSEMENT album in 1988.
Like DP one had to see those bands live for a real ability to judge what they were worth.
Well, I understood the Scorps are retiring and suggesting they will go out with a STRONG ALBUM.
I hope so…..
They got lost some years ago trying to do something modern……
They tried to get back on top a bit but listening to Humanity I felt they were not not rocking much anymore…..
Not That I do not like their ballads but…..
INFORMATION, INTERNET etc
One has to have the ability to select instead of getting lured in a pattern where one wants to see EVERYTHING.
Andrea, I still know people without Internet, you re not slow on things.
February 1st, 2010 at 13:14BTW.
I suppose I slipped a bit on the Scorps thing.
Humanity was a song on UNBREAKABLE?
Always recommended, TOKYOTAPES Live In Japan with Uli Roth and World Wide Live with a somehow more modern rocking format around 1985.
February 1st, 2010 at 13:17Fantastic!!!
now I will not have to check ths.com every hour to see if something new is happening, THS-News will come to me itself, on FB…
Btw, I’m still waitting for the headline in february “Deep Purple enters studio”
February 1st, 2010 at 14:06I am in a profession that prohibits me from “social interaction sites” like Facebook, MySpace and even YouTube. That is the state of freedom in America.
February 1st, 2010 at 22:24i’m there, so i’ll happily add you. facebook has been a bit temperamental recently, refusing to load the inbox or not loading comments at first attempt. i think it struggles under the strain sometimes.
February 2nd, 2010 at 07:22I ve been told FACEBOOK is very vulnerable concerning hackers…..
February 9th, 2010 at 16:50I try to avoid these “Social Sites”. It only automatically places you in a category for ‘Tracking Down’ and being bothered by undesirables. I have a Face Book only due to some of my close friends whom live far away stay in touch that way. I put little to nothing in the profile and rarely log on. Don’t trust it. I’ll check out the Purple one, but if I have to Join to see it…..no thanks…
Cheers
February 15th, 2010 at 19:08Long Live the Belgian connection!!!!
I have many dubious experiences with Social Sites but in the end I met exceptions to the rule….
Cheers!
Op nog vele bergen friet!!!!
