US mini tour in February
A handful of US dates centered around the cruise appearance in February 2023 went on sale today, November 18. Caveat: none of these have been confirmed by the band’s management at the time of this writing. These dates are now confirmed.
In other tour news, Japanese dates in March 2023, as well as a couple of European festival appearances next summer, are confirmed and also on sale.
Full details in our calendar.
Got my ticket for New Brunswick, Front Row! Can’t wait!
November 18th, 2022 at 21:59Thanks THS for the heads up on the US mini-tour.
November 19th, 2022 at 12:43Just got tickets to the New Brunswick, NJ, show. Super excited!!!
George @1,
I live a hop, skip, and a jump away from The State Theater. I heard an announcement of the gig late yesterday on 101.5 while driving on the GSP. I went onto the State website and when I saw what they are charging for tickets, I logged off. I think I’m going to pass for the first time in many a decade. Care to convince me otherwise? :>

It’ll probably be gorgeous weather down there in Florida in February. I once lived there. Couldn’t hack the relentless humidity, but the winters are glorious. Wish I had the time & loot to be on that tour boat. Hopefully, they don’t get COVID this time around out on the ocean.
November 19th, 2022 at 18:22Yo,
It’s great to see the band touring again in such a positive way ! I hope an invitation is extended to Steve for a surprise/guest appearance, (& that he can participate). What a show that would be !!!
Probably a tall order to ask, but a show or 2 in Australia would be much appreciated too, so don’t forget about us !
Peace !
November 20th, 2022 at 02:22@ Ted. We’ve been anticipating the “last tour” for years. This time it really might be the last one. I’m relatively close to one of the shows, and I’m trying to convince myself to drive the distance. After following the band for so may years and seeing so many shows, I will regret not making the effort to go. After all, it might the last time I have a chance. Getting out my credit card….

November 20th, 2022 at 13:04Ted, it’s like this for me. Deep Purple has been, is and will always be my favorite band. I have seen them close to 30 times since the early 70’s. Only death will keep me from going to see them. I realize the New Brunswick show is a lot more expensive than the Pennsylvania show and I have no idea why but it is what it is. Look Gillan and Glover are 77, Glover will be 77 at the end of this month and Paicey and Don are 74. I don’t know how many more shows there will be. Time is not on their side, nor is it on mine. I would never tell anyone how to spend there money but for me I figure why did I work my whole life just to deprive myself of one of the things I enjoy the most?If I did not go to this show I would never forgive myself. I just happen to really love this band. If you decide to go I will be in the front row on the aisle between Ian and Simon. Stop by and say hi. I can’t wait until February!
I remember having read an interview in which Gillan claims to have dedicated toolbox to his wife who was not well at the time of the record. ♡

November 21st, 2022 at 17:59You write the same reason I went to the concert last october..
The PA show is the closest at 445 miles from me. Hoping they tour a bit more extensively in the Cleveland Ohio area later in 2023.
November 21st, 2022 at 19:06Just registered to go on the ROCK LEGENDS CRUISE Feb. 13th thru the 17th.
November 21st, 2022 at 19:17Ughh, my post @12 is only a part of what I typed. ??
I had addressed @6 & 7 that I succumbed to their feedback and I now will be attending The State Theater gig. Thanks to both for the nudge! :>

Just when I moved from FL to CA…
November 22nd, 2022 at 05:55Maybe Steve can join them on stage for an encore at one of the Florida dates.
November 22nd, 2022 at 13:30Agreeing with Gregster here . The band hasn’t been in OZ for a long time . Their in Japan in March ! Fingers crossed they can make the journey down to OZ . Hopefully a promoter gets on board soon !!! 👍🙏👍
November 23rd, 2022 at 08:56Live close by Philly and Jersey shows but inflation has taking a biting on my arse, so i’m disapointed that i can’t make any of the shows.
November 23rd, 2022 at 13:16@13:
That’s exactly my hope as well – it would be great if Steve could join them on stage!
November 24th, 2022 at 02:43If Steve joins them on stage, my guess is it will be the Orlando show. That’s the closest one to where he lives.
November 27th, 2022 at 17:32Got my tickets for the Rock Legends Cruise! Don’t think the band is coming to Canada any time soon!
Any other Canucks or Highway Star fanatics attending? ( I saw Tracy Zero the Hero (Love that tune!) is coming). I can’t wait. It could be the last time we get to see the band! Also want to see Randy Bachman again as a fellow Canadian! Like all old singers sometimes they are great and sometimes they sound their age!
So whether in Shades or a Book, Deep Purple can turn a Fireball from a Machine Head. Who do you think we are? We don’t need Burn a Stormbringer, just Come Taste the Band, and we won’t be Perfect Strangers. Head for the House of Blue Light and you will see we are not Slaves and Masters but just seeing that Battle Rages On, despite being Purpendicular to Abandon all Bananas! In The Rapture of the Deep we might say Now What, but in Infintite times we could all say Whoosh and it is all gone. Which could end up for all of us Turning to Crime!
January 12th, 2023 at 21:05Hope to see you on the Ship!
