    David’s latter Whitesnake work is very much ups and downs, but the new Love Songs CD is a pleasant listen with some surprises. Kind of a Christmas present for someone who has hitherto not liked WS.

    But what I’m really waiting for is the Into The Light boxed set – that album should have really set him off as a solo artist for a more adult market. When that undeservedly tanked, it must have shaken him immensely, because he regressed to his old fake-blond hairdo and reverted to singing music his voice was no longer cut out for. A shame.
