It’s innocent and charming
The record company has released another video for another track from Whoosh! This time it’s Nothing at All that got the Russian Stig themed treatment.
Thanks to BraveWords for the heads up.

How on earth did they write an album a year ago that reflects the current state of world affairs.
September 4th, 2020 at 07:51This is very spooky!
Music of the highest order.
A touch of Pink Floyd, circa 1987,a dash of Monty Python and plenty of Purple.
September 4th, 2020 at 10:53I prob’ly won’t watch it again, but it’s good to see Whoosh get continuing promotion.
Absolutely stunning!!
September 4th, 2020 at 12:42When is the next Album??
Song and music are suuuuperb, the video a good warning.
September 4th, 2020 at 12:52This should have been the first single all along. Among the poppiest DP tracks ever, in line with Never Before, Woman From Tokyo and Call of the Wild. Even people who are generally left cold by DP like this one.
Mick Box would say: “Oh, and it even has a chorus!” ; – )
September 4th, 2020 at 13:05Very… very pinkfloydish in a video way… why? But I appreciate that overwhelming figure that plays the leading (video)role so far. Mature concept, ain´t it? Mature band, you bet. Music of my all life. I … with ease mind… add the address, too.
September 4th, 2020 at 13:48My favorite song from the album and for me one of the best songs of the whole Morse era.
As expected, an “artistic” clip in which the band is unfortunately not shown.
For me, seeing the musicians is usually the most important thing about a clip.
But crafted and artistically very nicely done. A lot of effort was made.
But how I would have loved to see Gillan in the purple jacket with purple bowler hat. Smile
Somehow I have the feeling that I’ve seen the “bowler actor” somewhere on TV.
I get Gillan’s lyrics and the video only partially in relation. Both remain somewhat mysterious.
And “The old lady” looks pretty young.
A little Monty Pythanesk.
But the most important thing … there is a video.
Unfortunately still no vinyl or CD single.
I hope they bring this special song live.
September 4th, 2020 at 14:51When i watch this new video from the Whoosh album but also the previous two videos..I think of… No…Not Deep Purple
September 4th, 2020 at 14:55but…Pink Floyd…this is something they could have done…This is “Pink”.. but its also “Purple”…and thats ok… I guess………
Amazing song!!
September 4th, 2020 at 16:44What a nice song!!!!!!! Long live DeeP PurplE. We are waiting for you here in Argentina!!!
September 4th, 2020 at 19:48You see Steve and Don, I assume using footage shot by little Ian.
September 5th, 2020 at 18:19Video isn’t much, but I love the promotion and I find the song to be excellent. The opening riff with both Steve and Don playing a part is fantastic.
September 5th, 2020 at 20:56The next Deep Purple clip without Deep Purple!!! They are tired? Bored? So that way they can make clip to all tracks from the album. I really miss clips made in old style. Am I the only one???
September 5th, 2020 at 21:33Love it. A brilliant video. Another one. As the album. Superb. All of it.
Maybe with a little mouth, but people are talking about a new album. It’s surreal. But hey, I think yet that DP is capable of anything. Unbelieveable.

This!. 😎
One of the best songs on the album….
September 7th, 2020 at 14:09The best song from the album, and the best song in the era of Steve Morse since the time of “Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming”. A this real DP classic ,in future cover bands perform for years and years on the set list. I think Jon Lord is smiling and pleased with this song. Gillan’s voice is fantastic !, Bravo guys ! ( and Mr Bob Erzin of course !) no surrender !
September 7th, 2020 at 17:15Deep Floyd or Pink Purple
Fantastic song and video!!!
September 7th, 2020 at 18:38Don’s keyboard work on this song is just plain amazing! There have not been many rock tunes of late in 6/8 time… this one is my favorite! OK, the video is neat – now it’s time to move on, we’ve seen enough of the spacesuit!
September 8th, 2020 at 10:17Is it only me or is there more than just a nod to Patrick McGoohan’s Prisoner ? (readers of a certain vintage may remember !)
