This ought to be a great show. Glenn’s voice is still very strong and his bass-playing is superb. Will be nice to hear his take on some of the Purple classics. I hope I can make it to a show or 2 in the UK this fall to hear him.

Glenn says he may bring this show to North America in 2019.
It’s too bad BCC can’t find time to tour.BCCIV is such a strong album.

Glenn came to New Zealand with the “Sons of Cream” tour. Many who saw that had no idea who Glen Hughes was! His rendition of Mistreated, just him and an acoustic guitar was phenomenal. Later last year he brought his Classic Deep Purple tour, which many turned up to on the strength of that previous performance. He didn’t disappoint. I never thought that I would hear these songs sung like this ever again.
We have been treated to Joe Bonamassa a couple of times down here, and now Glenn has visited. Pity we can’t get them together!
