Nothing wrong with guitar players as a whole. Its the moody and difficult ones that you have to watch out for. Now if only I could remember the name of the guitar player I was thinking about when I wrote this :p

Time flies, it’s unbelievable that this was 2011 (at least for the most part). Next year Jon’s gone 5 years. I miss him a lot.

A wonderful insight into Jon Lord’s creative genius. Watched this at the Classic Rock site a few days ago. Guy Pratt on the bass by the look of it, hasn’t he played with so many of the greats! As I have stated before, Lord, Emerson & Wakeman were too big for rock music in general. 3 to 4 guitarists indeed, that says something that we all know. Blackmore & Lord, cannot beat that combination, never! RIP Jon Lord. Incredibly missed! Cheers.

This doc is on the Concerto cd/dvd box, nothing new if you bought it. It seems alot of people here that are ‘fans’ do not even buy the releases. Maybe these posts will persuade some to support the artists they are supposed to know so much about, hence all the discussions here.

Scott W @ 8- support the artists? How much money have we spent supporting these artists indeed! Where does it begin & where does it end? How much have I spent over the last 5 decades? Too much it seems, well I don’t need to go into to it at all. ‘Fans’ purchase what they want ! We like what we like & the opposite. What are ‘fans’ supposed to do, buy everything that is released? Attend every concert? Cheers.

@8 I hear you. I have spent a not so small fortune on not only DP but other bands and started in 1976. I guess the point I was making is that the clip above is not something rare that is NOT on a release, but is available to buy if a fan wants to own it.
