Having complete understanding
Glenn Hughes recently spoke to Mitch Lafon and the nearly 40-minute interview is the feature of the latter’s weekly podcast. They talked about Glenn’s health problems, Black Country Communion (“BCC will be the last band I play in…”, whatever exactly that means), Hall of Fame induction (“I completely understand what Ian Gillan is saying…”), and other things.
Thanks to BraveWords for the info.
Last band?? he already did California Breed and Bonham left that. I love Glenn but he apparently has too big an ego to get along with other great musicians!
March 23rd, 2016 at 17:14He is been searching for that big band since Purple days…don’t forget this was Jason Bonham doing, who always goes where the money is and he is guns for hire drummer not a musician.
March 23rd, 2016 at 17:19I am totally in love with Voodoo Hill’s latest album “Waterfalls”. Glenn’s lyrics & vocals are a pure joy. Dario Mollo just makes me smile from ear to ear with his guitar work. Thanks guys!.
March 24th, 2016 at 10:41Blackwood R @3….Agreed 1000%!!! Waterfalls is a masterpiece from start to finish. One of the strongest, most cohesive albums that Glenn Hughes has done in years. And yes, Dario Mollo plays some very tasty guitar too! This one is very close in quality to the Tony Iommi / Glenn Hughes DEP Sessions 1996. Both are absolutely wonderful albums.
March 25th, 2016 at 16:28Great interview and I love the honesty and the simplicity of the guy he is a true gent to say he would split his award in half with Tommy Bolin in his honour.
March 26th, 2016 at 12:16I still think he will be invited to play burn with Coverdale on stage and Ritchie won’t join in and that will make the fans loves and Respects Ian Gillan and Roger more.
I love BCC albums they hit the nail on the head and regardless of what happens with a reunion those three albums will grow to be bigger than anything he ever done with purple. God bless you Glenn
